- Honestly I found it easier than some videos to remove and harder than I originally thought. Take your time and it isn't that hard. The 7" Lighted Ford Emblem is available on eBay. This video pairs with the diy light strip.
Another cool mod done on the cheap. It does look great with the rest of the front lit up like that. Rock on David!

Yes Indeed you can have a standard key without the remote.
David! do you have the dimensions of the factory Ford Maverick Emblem? height and width? + anything else
What did you wire it to? Or did I miss it?
Do you think the grill could be taken off completely this way? What was holding it on on the bottom?

Good video. Just want to black out the emblem and your explanations quickly convinced me to simply mask it off and paint in place. Rear emblem was much easier to remove.
FYI - I am blacking out Ford emblems cause i never like manufacturers’ names prominently displayed on their products, but more importantly, Henry Ford was a raging anti-Semite and I definitely don’t want that label on something I own. He’s been dead for over 75 years and I doubt the current company leadership is similarly inclined and I have owned many Ford products, but to honor the legacy of such a hateful man with millions of these emblems all over the country is pretty wrong IMO.
