- I’ve been watching a lot of videos about DM kits and wanted to make my own. It’s been a fun challenge to reduce (or equip) everything I need for a session.

"If the players are enjoying something, let it go on as long as they want" is great to hear!
All for moving things along when you realise they're going in circles or players are getting frustrated or bored, but it's great to let players just do stuff at their own pace!
As a Tarot user to drive stories, I like using them for prep ideas, kind of like random tables. But for game applications, break the deck up between the minor arcana, major arcana, and court cards. The uses from quick tavern games, npc generation, initiative, or even rooms for dungeons make it a wonderful tool.
Number one DM essential: big ol' bag of dice. ✔ Number two: more dice. ✔ Three: *special* dice. ✔
Love that bag. I used to carry my stuff in a backpack, and/or a duffel bag, or even a cardboard box.
And I wouldn't worry about that Boys "ad." Pretty much every DM kit vid I've seen is just one big unintentional ad for all their cool gear anyway.

That was a really neat collection! Definitely need to pick up those Tarot Cards. The timer is pretty sweet too. Would love to see more videos from you if you ever find the time.

Those tokens in the package your toothbrush came in … where are they from?
I tried ordering a deck of Truly Wild Magic from Session Zero via Etsy, they never arrived and I was refunded. I think they are out of business now.
