Hope u don't mind me saying but a really nice touch on the edge of the CEDAR BOARDS for the outside would've been a slight champher so the boards woulda made a lovely finish to the outside but that just me thinking out loud. U made a fine job of the Cedar out shell. Is CEDAR expensive??
The chamfer would look really good but my intention for the top of the bar is to get it some character, scratches & dents over the years then cover the top with an epoxy. Cedar is costly depending on what you get. The top cedar was special order when I build our pool deck and I always purchase a little extra just in case. It came in handy for the bar. Thanks for watching and the comments!
Hey man I love the look of Cedar Wood .. What's the name of the plywood u used on the shelving underneath? Is it called MARINE PLY?? Great job btw my bro..
The plywood was just a 3/4” piece from the local Home Depot, nothing special. I can’t remember if I had it in the barn or purchased it just for the bar.
