This is the dream. Being able to carry your team to victory against all odds, even when the enemy is very ahead, even when your team is actively throwing. That's the level of skill I strive for.
i mean tbh the dire lost bc they didnt farm creeps they farmed the griefers, literally 1 wk kill in the griefing period is like 3 melee creeps worth of money. if the drow actually farms its would be an unwinnable game

Pudge rotting in a roshpit is a really common thing. It used to meta, but now the 13 clarities gyrocopter is the tier 1 griefing. People skill the rocket, and just lauch it at enemy mid off-cooldown, while soaking the xp of their own mid player.

grieving is boosters new meta. they abuse the match making so much that they learnt a very effective trick to win the game. all they need someone in your team who is willing to win.

When you're at the bottom, you can only go up (or just stay there too)
this is a weird pattern I always observe
Idk why but my team sometimes try their best and somehow ended up losing the game

Grieving is the meta, I always love to get into Dota games and tell my teammates about my cat that died last year while I'm dropping tears on my keyboard

Valve needs to address this issue so hard. This happen oftens in SEA server in low ranks. You just auto lose mmr. Game is ruined. And you just can't play the game in general anymore. Non-griefers shouldn't have to lose mmr just because there are shitty ass players
this happens a lot in general right now last night 4/5 games I played had griefers that goess afk farming to just holding the team hostage becauase the team didn't do one thing that he/she wanted them to do. I legit uninstall the game after 2 months of just failing to find actual matches becuase at this point its pure luck and I rather play poker than do this shit.
what do you want valve to do, look over every game and see if there was a griefer and then give you a thousand mmr?
well but sometimes i also end up on the non-grieving team, so i guess it balances out
im a low mmr but i dont see griefers in my games.. if your are getting this kinds of players its either you are one of them or you get abandon most of the time cause of shitty internet.. just get your conduct higher an they will all go away.
my exp in SEA has been opposite. there is super toxicity but everyone tries real hard to win no matter what

I remember a long time ago there was a patch with a horrible comeback mechanic. And to prove a point, I went lion 5, spent all gold on consumables for my carry and fed relentlessly... to the enemy pos4. When my spectre got lvl 6. I did the same thing but the support was low enough that haunt killed him... and got him some stupid amount of gold.

I almost lost a 2v5 like that yesterday. The other team had 3 people abandon, but the 2 remaining didnt give up. With leaver gold and solo xp their primal beast got way ahead. My team decided to group up and run down mid to kill him - just fed him over and over. I won by pushing in sides and cutting behind him so he could never rax us
I won a 1v3 recently, as weaver i just rapidly killed all 3 enemies over and over, pushed and bought a rapier.
This is actually the 200 IQ way to buy space for your carry

This game reminds me of those times where you dont need to win a low prio game for it to count and all people do is just fight in mid or anywhere they want right from the start and only one or two people play normally.

the weird thing is, since kill participation and farm matter so much for your bounty, if you JUST feed mid, you'll not do much for the enemy.

I, pos 5, almost lost a 1v5 2 nights back because the opponents DK refused to give up and my pos 1 and pos 2 decided it will be cool to end mid 5 minutes into the GAME!!! Luckily after feeding DK for 10 minutes they considered my idea to farm and we ended the game in 30 minutes AGAINST A SINGLE ENEMY!!
Dude, the DK player mental fortitude must have like +1000 armor to be able to stay in a 1 vs 5 game till the end.

Once had a game where we were winning and then just... 2 member decide dto stop playing and went AFK, while our druid stayed in the base and only controlled his bare. In his defense that bear was so fed it could 1v1 everyone on the enemy team.
11:09. My view on the question is that if you can be good at certain things, but bad at others. The question being, what does it mean to be a "good" player? If it's making an impact in a team to win, then he's bad, but if you consider other things in a game that a player can make, like griefing, then he can be a good player-griefer. But, if you're not good at either playing the game or griefing, then you have no redeeming points of being a good player. Though, in SF's defence, he understands some of game's mechanics to troll, like killing Pudge by Roshan's clap twice. You could argue that he could accidentally do that, but no, on second time he brought creeps to make Roshan clap since there was no Wraith King as a 3rd unit.
In conclusion, I believe griefing is one of ways to play the game, so you could be a good player (kinda...) if you konw how to grief and troll well. Those guys are hilarious to watch :D But if you're terrible at both playing and griefing, you can't qualify at both possible conditions of a good player, that's what I'm saying.

I just finished a game where i veno support jungle (since junglers back then were pos 4s) and my carry tiny griefed the whole time, then end up winning coz of aghanims upgraded poison at lvl 12.

I mean, veno ult isn't dispellable in the first place so bkb would only protect the hero from the poison during the duration that it's on and a dispel wouldn't do anything...

i wish i could show u the vid, but i remember 2v5ing and winning as well. i went riki and i had a dazzle that believed just as much as i did. one of the crazy many things that had happnend was that i got killed by a jugg, dropping my divine, then i boughtback, got TP boots, tp'd in, killed the jugg, and took back my divine lmao

I was in an almost similar game yesterday. Luckily I was playing medusa in almost a free medusa game and luckily I like farming. So after two people on enemies gave up I just went to jungle and hit creeps thinking my team got this. In the end we won because I was way too big (like consumed aghs, shard and moon shard big) and we won after winning one team fight.
