We Nagas don’t use onions while making pork boil until and unless it’s fried . This style is mostly done by people in Assam . But it looks tasty . I hope you will research more about authentic Naga food and know the roots 👍 thanks for uploading this video though :)

Nicely kept the essence of cooking style, no oil and simple flavours.
We usually won't add red onions and spring onions but I feel it's okay since you didn't say that it was traditional; I bet it taste better with them as well.
You can always add Sichuan pepper next time , it'll be a bomb

We lived in Assam for all of my childhood our bungalow was 2 miles from the Nagaland border , unfortunately all those years there were prolonged hostilities between some of the Naga Tribes and the Indian Army so I never went into Nagaland , my mother used to grow a lot of tomatoes from seed imported from the UK, The Indian tomato varieties tended to be tough with a woody center and rather tasteless, all of the CZcams videos on cooking in India seem to use these tomatoes, I have tried lots of Assamese food, uniquely different and tasty, I am going to try my hand at making the Naga Pork you have presented in your video , looks like it is going to be another very different variation of a curry

Not an authentic Naga style if I have to be brutal honest. No spring onion plz. U don’t beat red chili too, originally they don’t put Onion as well . I’m sure it must taste too good, since u are a Magician. Axone n Bamboo shoot enhances the overall dish.

Nice! Liked, Subscribed and will share. I know Nagaland borders Myanmar, and that there are Naga in Myanmar (perhaps in Myanmar’s western Chin State?). Looking forward to viewing and trying your recipes. I currently do Chinese and Southeast Asian style cooking at home and want to learn recipes from other parts of Asia. Not familiar with the language you were speaking, though it seemed similar to some ethnic hill-tribe languages I had heard in northern Thailand and ethnic minority languages in Myanmar, and I assume it must Sino-Tibetan. Cheers!
