八朔 祇園 のんびりKYOTO Greetings from geisha and maiko

八朔。
旧暦の八月一日を八朔と言い
恩義のある人に贈り物をする風習。
祇園の芸舞妓さんたちは、黒紋付の正装で
暑い中をお世話になっているお茶屋さんなどを
回ります。
「おめでとうさんどす」の声があちこちから聞こえてきます。
花街の伝統行事です。
ちなみに私は上着は脱いでいますが、スーツ姿で撮影に臨んでいます。
