  • The Offensive Line is probably the most concerning part of the Ravens team for fans going into the 2024 season. Will the Rookies be good enough? Will we miss the Veterans we had before too much? Who will start there? These are all questions we as fans have asked this offseason, but let's take a look deeper at not just the players but also the coaches and their scheme as well as the MVP Quarterback they will be protecting and blocking for. Enjoy!

Good point about #8 counting on his physical abilities behind the line. Hope the O line gels as quickly as possible.

We have always had a better than avg o line! Ravens do a good job shifting their line every year. This year is nothing new more important they have drafted very well in that department the past couple years! They are young and will be together for at least 3 more years imo. We will be More than fine

I'm fine with Simpson and Moses leaving I just wish we kept Zeitler

I’m not concerned the Ravens have very good offensive line coach.

Good report; would very much like to hear your thoughts on the potential PSquad O-line players under development ... Julian Pearl, Darrell Simpson, Darrian Dalcourt, Corey Bullock, etc.

Hmm interesting, maybe I'll do a deep dive on them during camp as we start to get an idea of who is performing and who isn't. I appreciate the comment and suggestion!

The offensive line was inconsistent last year. Good technique one week bad the next week. They should give the younger players a start this year. They drafted Maryland player Cory bulluck who can move defensive lineman around. With good coaching I think the Ravens will be fine.

IMO this projected line has a higher floor and ceiling.
Simpson biggest weakness was strength and throughout the game he would get help and if not it would be a penalty or him looking up from the ground. The Chiefs picked on him if you watch the film. Vorhees will at least be strong and won’t need much help.
Zeitler was a pro bowler but we seen Ben replace him and we seen Lamar get a perfect passer rating and he is also strong. Most of the runs when he played were behind him and he might be better at pass pro.
Rosen main know is he is not strong but neither was Mosses especially after the injury but Rosen is more athletic than Mosses so I think at worst he can give us what Mosses gave.
Josh also is not a bad RT from what I have seen if Rosen is not good.
But if the Ravens can 5 man protect it’s over for the league

I get higher ceiling but higher floor is bs. Two of the guys haven’t played at all. Of course with good coaching you have a higher chance of developing these guys into premium starters but that shouldn’t be seen as a given especially because there are so many tackles in the league that never reached that level

@@lnnrt0161 I can say that based on the film and what we know of Vorhees in the weight room and from the combine. And we seen Ben play and start a couple games so I’m pretty confident in that breakdown. Rosengarten is the biggest question mark but what gives me hope is that he is very knowledgeable about the position.
I seen him do an podcast talking about o line stuff and from watching the Ravens report they saw that also.

Derrick isn't going anywhere if we don't have a good O-Line.

Coach Joe D. will get the job done.

I don’t think so. Think about it these guys all except one of them was rotating last year in and out of the game to keep the starters fresh for the playoffs.

People seem to forget that and Simpson often was looking at Lamar from the ground. I believe the line will be much improved

What makes you think they going to fail. They haven't played together yet.🤔
