I struggle to find any dark ambient music on You Tube that isn't exactly the same as this. Completely indistinguishable. And very easy to do with a few bits of the right software. The genre is in a rut.

@@apedreus No, it isn't. Ambient doesn't mean boring and lifeless like "there's nothing going on here and I am just here to exist in the background". Ambient is serious music to dive into and explore if well made. It's more that you have to listen carefully and concentrate on the details to hear the things that are going on in the music. But that doesn't happen in the stuff that today's kids generate.
