Hi, my wife is studying diploma in hospitality. She will apply for post-study visa and subsequently she will do job ready program. An employer in a regional area wants to sponsor her but the the problem is that she doesn’t have a minimum of 3 years experiences as a chef. At the moment, Australia is said to keep borders closed until the end of 2021. They are currently allowing people in through Skilled Visas, but only for certain priority occupations AND people onshore have higher priority than people offshore.
