Sometimes I take some fridge magnets and just stare at them, wondering when they too will become warriors like Alpha and Beta. The day a man can harness the power of the warrior magnets will be the day a new king is crowned.
It really is ironic that Kaiba could never beat yugi, but still got all the good support for his decks. Magnet warriors vs abc, Blue-eyes vs dark magician (not saying DM is bad, BUT THE FIELD DIES TO MST) , etc.
Well, of course Kaiba's cards are better. He's rich. Yugi's deck was constructed on a kids allowance, and some of his Grandfather's cards. I had a theory Kaiba was in charge of the card game. Obelisk is the best Legal God card. Legal Slifer took ages to get released. And there's a Kaibaman card.
Kaiba is just normal human, of course he wants a lot of consistency in his deck, Atem doesn't need that, that's why his deck is bricky shitfest but has strong combo that mere mortal like us can pull it in once in a billion years. Yugi, however being a normal human made his deck a bit more consistent as well, although he for some reason running Mahad, I guess that's just his way to remember him.
Dragon Knight Turbo is a great strategy for DM, you can also run Synchros and XYZs for swarming and versatility. Honestly DM has never been better but Blue-eyes is very one-note because it is mainly just level 8 swarm with meh consistency.
Dark Magician has a lot of spells and traps and a few monsters so that it hits the field pretty quick. DM the Dragon Knight is also nice as he can protect your spell/trap zone while if you have Eternal Soul while Dragon Knight is on the field,your Dragon Knight cant be Raigeki'd or Mirror Force'd while at the same time,Eternal Soul cant be MST'd. Its a nice trick that feels good when pulled off
Ok, I feel like there needs to be a mildly short rant here: 1) Don't run the vanillas. Just don't. Delta is a good enough target for the electromagnets' first effect. 2) The effect of electromagnetic field is not just you running head first into their stuff. It bounces every time their monster is not destroyed. Aka, when they attack a magnet warrior you control and destroy it, their monster is still there so you can bounce it. And it's not a once per turn! And you would be surprised how many times it works. I bounced back a Master Peace once and it felt so satisfying. 3) Power... Is at 2? I am sorry did I see that right? Yes they are not battery men or Cyberdarks when they get off their big dmg, but you can still OTK with ease. Even skull servants known for their OTK strength wish they had the viability that Magnets have, given that you can break their field with just a Berserkion. But hey I will give it to you that you need a bit of graveyard setup. But come on, thr whole deck is Earth and Missus Radiant boosts your field by atleast 1500 total on a decent day. 4) Imperium Magnum is not a wij condition. Just run a single fusion gate in your deck. You run terraforming for magnetic field already and you can easiky search your materials with Alpha and Beta searching him. Plus it only helps you in the long run if you happen to draw in a Magnet reverse, which grants you a free beater (preferably Berserkion). You don't have to go out of your way for it, but it still rewards you a ton if you happen to draw 2 of the pieces and go for the third. I am absolutely overjoyed you did this video though. Very very happy to have heard your opinion, though it did break my boys. Great video and editing as always, also the skit was quite humorous with the magnet tower.

I might give KofS and Poly a shot maybe, but the searchability for FG and the materials is good as is. 18 years ago there was actually a valkyrion otk if the opponent had an open field, they would summon valkyrion, then tribute him for the 3 magnet warriors. Then revive valkyrion with monster reborn or a premature burial then attack for game. Some shit yugi pulled on me in the old gba game when I was 5 and was trash at yugioh, yugi opened with the 4 magnet warriors a pot of greed and a harpies feather duster. He played pot of greed and got a dark hole and a monster reborn, nuked the field then summoned the 4 magnet warriors and ran them all for game. 😢😢

1 really important detail that was left out about Berserkion was that the banish to destroy effect is not a hard once per turn. As long as you have magnets in your grave, you can destroy as much shit on the field as you want. I've had many games in which Berserkion's floating ability allowed me to re-summon everything, then immediately summon him back, this time with even more targets for destruction.
As someone who lived in Detroit I have a few points. 1: That joke was hilarious. 2: You can speed and no one will pull you over, because compared to everything you COULD be doing, speeding is underwhelming. 3: We have our own inside, Detroit may be *blank* but it's better than Flint.
Honestly I think you're underselling the deck here. Particularly Imperion Magnum. First, it is really easy to run in non-dedicated builds. You're already running Terraforming for Magnetic field, so to run a searchable fusion option you just have to splice in Fusion Gate. The rest of the deck searches the pieces pretty easily. Second, it's floating effect cannot be understated. Given how the deck flows, the ideal play would look something like this: Get a bunch of magnets in the grave. Summon Berserkion and nuke their entire board with his no-OPT clause destruction. Summon Imperion Magnum for the beatdown, now that their resources are blown to bits. Unless they can pull off some kind of alternate removal, your opponent has to muscle through an impending wave of monsters. First, they have to muscle past the negation. Then they have to destroy Imperion. Then they have to destroy both Valkyrion and Berserkion. Then they have to destroy the 3 magnets that Berserkion summons. Then, they have to attack for game, because those 3 magnets just searched out another Berserkion play, which will hammer your opponents field next turn if they don't OTK, or if fusion gate is still on the field, they'll have to go through a second Imperion Magnum.
I like the idea of Magnet monsters ATTRACTING one another, that's nifty. Also, HURRAY for more Ojama Lime! Is that a tease at the next archetype archive?!

It's funny how Gamma the Electromagnet Warrior has the same stats as Trickstar Lilybell while being one level higher. However, Lilybell has a better type, attribute, and effect while also being part of a significantly better archetype.
to this day and age, I am still waiting for Delta, the Electromagnet Warrior, and Maybe something that are retooled versions of Bastion's Magnet Warriors that help the deck in real life (either with Fusion Summoning, or maybe even swarming capabilities for the Vanilla Magnet Warriors, and maybe protection). Maybe Magnet Warrios Upsilon and Epsilon. and Psi and Phi for themathic?

Berserkion makes sense from a nomenclature perspective, a Nordic berserker being a sort of corollary to a Valkyrie, I.e. Valkyrion.
