Love your videos. I just installed this kit. Install was easy, but had to connect red wire to the INJ fuse because the DRL were always on. Any idea why the DRL light up pale blue instead of cool white.

How did you remove the headlight connector to connect the white wire? I can’t get it off the headlight assembly.

At 9:10 you use the green (originally white) wire to the headlight harness... Why is that? Red went to your fuse box, black is ground, what’s the white wire (green) go to the headlight for?
Nice job. Question: the blue white wire to your "white(green)" wire is actually what makes the fog light to be ON when day lights are ON, correct? And the red wire connection to fusebox is what makes your fog light to be ON when normal lights are ON? So if someone wants to have this new fog light ON only when daylights are ON then bluewhite wire connection to you "white(green)" would be enough, + the negative obviously..? Thanks man

my Rav4 is a European model and comes with led reflector headlights ,as they have a 24 pin plug on them and can't find the parking light wire for the white trigger wire

i have similar fog lights to install in my 2019 LE. My fog lights have the 3 LED horizontal bars and the 2 horizontal bars above and below a fog light. My LE doesnt have fog lights, so it will be a bit more involved wire-wise. Anyone already gone from no fog lights to lights similar as I described?

I bought the fog lights from your video but I have a 2021 RAV4 Prime SE and all the wires and fuses are different. The red wire should be connected to what fuse and you connected the white wire to the blue and white wire but what are those wires. My truck has different colors.

The way you tapped into the turn signals seems very convenient. Is this method good for someone living in rainy areas? It looks secure but wanted to see if you recommend splicing cables instead for people living in wet areas.
You can splice the cables to make sure water doesn’t got into it

For the DRL on the headlights how did you turn them off, or switch. Did any lights came on the dashboard? I got those same fog lights and just want those to be on when I have my DRL on. I don't want the headlight DRL on with the fog lights
No lights on the dash, if you want them to work differently you have to rewire your setup, and for the DRL on the headlights you have to twist the knob to turn them off

Yes, just check if the plug is the same, bud I think you’ll gonna need the plug for the headlight bulbs

I own a '18 Rav4, the one you used to have. Do you know which fuse I can tap into under the hood, while also using an add-a-circuit? And can you tell me which line for the turn signal lights I can tap into with the yellow lines?
Look for the ACC fuse, and I don’t remember the color on the turn signal wires, but is easy just connected it to one and if is not working go to the other one!! I hope this help you
@@BulletSolano For the turn signal wires, it sounds like I can safely experiment with all 3 wires of the "triangle" before securing it to the correct one, right? And of course I can only use an ACC fuse of 10A or less to use an add-a-circuit, correct?

Do you know which fuse I would have to tap into a rav4 hybrid LE?
Check on the fuse box if you have INJ fuse, that will be the one for it, but if not just look for the ignition fuse

Watch the full video, is one wire harness for the two lights with one yellow cable for the turn signals on each side
Is there is any other subjection on how to install those light on the rav4 prime se all conector are a littlw difference due to no bulbs on the headlight and i dont want to peal no wire
Go aftermarket for the fog lights and drl’s i know is not convenient but that will be the easy way to avoid cutting wires

You need the wiring harness diagram for that, ask your dealership

Bullet el portafusibles que usas en el video no es del tamaño adecuado, debe tener la misma apariencia que los terminales del original, ademas para que salga energia por el fusible nuevo debes tambien conectar el fusible original en el nuevo, osea se deben colocar los 2 en el portafusible a usar. Con eso deberia salir 12v sin problemas
Si ese no sirvió es muy grande y no sale energía, pero en las instrucciones dice que solo pusiera un fusible, de todas formas lo voy a regresar y buscar uno para fusibles pequeños
@@BulletSolano el portafusible internamente esta diseñado para conectar el fusible auxiliar despues del original, si no pones el original abajo entonces nunca cerrara circuito para alimentar al fusible auxiliar o nuevo fijate en aliexpress alli muestan la foto de la conexion interna del portafusible y advierten usar los 2 fusibles

Jim Klafehn installed fog lights in his Prime, but you must do a new wiring harness to propperly connect the new fog lights since it is unavailable from factory, look for it in youtube Jims channel

El blanco es el que va conectado al conector de la Luz, para darle la señal y que prendan las DRL

Lo q mire si conecto e blanco con el rojo la luz es mas baja lo q yo se es q en el dia la luz esta fuerte y en la noche cuando las otras prenden se ase menos fuerte la day light

It seems you have the older style, as the newer ones have yellow for turns, white for DRL and blue for headlights. I have a 2023 SE with no fog lights. It would appear I would have to buy both kits to get where you headed but with the simplicity in that I only need the fog light wiring kit/bulbs and not the plastic pieces which I would use from the turn signal accent kit.
Can you confirm the cartrim home kit for fog lights contains a separate wire to traverse the firewall to connect to the dash. I have seen all in one kits where its impossible to connect through the firewall as its not in separate pieces. Finally, the connectors on the fog lights with the cartrimhome kit. Are they a standard fitment? Could use them on stock Rav4 that comes with fog lights is the question?
