I personally think the animations are decent and feel very good in the actual game. Have you tried them besides just looking at this video? For base new Vegas, I feel like they have too much animation going on compared to what is in the base game, but they would fit right in with another mod I saw a while back, someone gave every single weapon in the game, new animations, and it made the entire game feel completely different, because not only did they have new handling animations, but everything else animation wise was changed, and it made them feel completely different with every weapon in the game. If I can find it, I’ll link it in the comment

Mod is p good for an "all original" weapon pack mod for FNV in 2024 My current issues are mostly animation related, some others pointed out already, others like how slooooow (even if accurate) the reloads for the revolvers are. Sounds could be a bit better too, but nothing fundamentally broken that future versions and patches can't fix!
Oh yeah because we didnt already have multiple revolvers, a lever action rifle, and a lever action shotgun in new vegas! This mod adds such original weapons😍
At least you don't have to mod in the ability to load only as many rounds as you need, since Obsidian actually knew what they were doing, unlike Bugthesda
Honestly thats a great idea for a use of weapon inspection to also check the breaking condition. Imagine a mod for far cry 2 having weapon inspections. Now that i think of it, imagine fallout having to manually fix a weapon jam like from far cry 2 lol.
@@Mutant_Mods bouncy reloads are usually connected in some sort of way, I didnt mean this mod in particular but we all can see a growing trend in mod sites which use bouncy or exaggerated movements on gun animations I wish a lot of modders would keep it simple or brief when it comes to reload, shooting and inspection

The one in the game is a 20 gauge. They added 12g variant. 20 gauge is useless later in game. Plus it comes with cool unique animations and sounds very good.
They have one and its awesome! Its tied to the cowboy perk. You can also have it set for fanning revolvers, spinning all the lever guns, and one handed for sawed off shotguns too. He highlights it in one of his videos
If you do the right gunslinger-crit build, you can crit more times then not. I average 3 crits every 5 shots. If you look up New Vegas Gunslinger Build, theres a good reddit post that goes over everything including weapons, armor, perks, and starting stats. Just for the love of god, get your strength implant and reinforced spine ASAP.

How do you use this? I have new Vegas on my PC but I bought it from the Microsoft store. Do I need to buy it with steam to install mods or like how do I do that? Revolvers and lever-actions deserve some more love especially with the Cowboy perk but conceptually all of these guns already exist in the basegame and don't serve much of a purpose besides looks and stat changes. Also, overly showy animations.

Those animations come with the guns, use Hitman's KNVSE animations if you wanna change the normal gun anims
