  • $40 billion is allocated over the next two years under the SPARK Program, and that will be focused on our roads. This is not focused on highways; this is focused on secondary roads, main roads, community roads, and some possible housing scheme roads

      I like this comment. I recall in 2019 to 2020 the Office of the PM placed dozens of advertisements in the newspapers showing land surveyed for development that the PM had signed off on. Some of those were in St. Elizabeth. Then to see Mr. Holness at a ceremony in St. Elizabeth in May 2024, handing over the houses to NHT for various working class people it was a blessing. It takes time but He’s working.

    When him build hospital dem ask what happened to the roads when him buil roads dem ask what happen to the jobs when him mek the economy stable so private investors could expand to create more jobs dem ask what happen to minimum wage,when he is the first prime Minister to raise the minimum wage 3 times in 8 years dem ask what happen to crime when he builds and repairs more police stations than any other previous government they find something else to complain about.they want andrew to fix 20+ years of stagnant growth in 2 terms and even though he has exceeded all expectations and Jamaica is experiencing the best years of development in our history pnp trolls will always find negativity in anything positive this government does

      I couldn't say it better my self. Am appalled by what my fellow Jamaicans has stooped to just in the name of politics. If we to think jamaica first we would see what is happening island wide is unprecedented, never in our 60 year history have we seen soo much positive things line up in this country. To list them would need a whole plate-form . All I can say is well thinking Jamaicans should come out to ensure this government rules for a next term.

    Nice to see the SPARK programme has officially started. I imagine they're start around areas nearby the recently built highways, and eventually branch off from there.

    If they did know about spray concrete it would be great to spray concrete those hillside so the hillside stay strong for 50 years, I need to come back home and teach some new techniques for mountain, you can even drill into the mountain and put concrete inside so the mountain get more stable and don’t fall over when it’s rain, a lot of things we lack in building roads in Jamaica, time is the master Jamaica will catch up soon no joke

      Kmt, how can andrew be late, where was the money to come from to do all these infrastructure programs ? Now the economy is fixed and growing the money is available hence the work has started, stop the complaining, the PNP had 18 full years and show me what they did ? Nothing,

    • @hbrown2866
      @hbrown2866 Před měsícem

      Andrew late, the PNP had 18 years to start and they were stuck in reverse. Run away dollar, high interest and inflation rates. Run down police stations and vehicles, lack of hospital amenities and the list goes on. They overdose you on promises that were never delivered.
