    Your plug for your book in this video earned you a purchase by me. This is the right way to market your products, everyone. Not by bait and switch, or harassing people who aren't even interested.

    What a great lesson for a beginner like me. I have to admit i have put the guitar down for a few months but after seeing this video it inspired me to dust it off and give it a go. Thanks!

    Andy all your instructional vids are great. In the case of this lesson, I think you should consider having the tone set to clean. Instead of whatever you are using here. This tone
    would be great for a lead but not for a basic rythum course. [sorry my spell check isn't working.]

    This is exactly the lesson I've been searching for! Your lessons are inspirational! I have an EPIPHONE semi hollow WILDKAT Studio electric guitar and a Yamaha THR10C modelling amp. The Blues is the genre of music that is my passion. Can you advise me, what of your learning products and courses are most suited for me, as a total beginner? I have heard great recommendations with regard to your notes and scales stickers, for use on the fretboard. Are they still available for me to purchase as well? Thank you Andy.

    Andy - I am currently learning this but after a while ( maybe 4 or 5 cycles of the full 12 bars ) my thumb and first finger seems to become really fatigued. I notice in the video you change thumb position on the back of the neck - is this for any particular reason? Also I find if I " bounce " the riff from one finger to the other it seems to help with the fatigue. Is this bad technique?

    Hey Andy, Thanks for all ur videos. What is difference between Blues scales, normal scales and what are licks and How do i learn them faster?

    • @andycrowley
      @andycrowley  Před 7 lety +2

      This is obviously a big topic. To be massively brief, the real difference you need to learn is between the major scale and the minor pentatonic scale, and learn which musical situations they each fit into. Minor pentatonic is for rock and blues or even just minor key songs (same as the blues scale) and the major scale is for major key songs. Learn more about this in this video (but you'll have to do more research to full understand this concept) czcams.com/video/751D2_HLFNU/video.html
