CR-V Off-roading: McKenzie River, Goodpasture BLM Road

I took advantage of a drizzly day and set off on a mini off-roading trek about 35 minutes East of Eugene, to Vida, a small town along the McKenzie River. Goodpasture Road parallels the river and turns from pavement to gravel after awhile. These shots were captured along the gravel portion, and various spur trails leading off towards river access points. I set out with only 1 goal in mind: get muddy! Mission accomplished! 👍🏼

Great video! You got some really cool shots and captured this area really well, it looks like a fun area to explore. I have to admit I just drive right past Goodpasture Bridge without ever giving a single thought to actually crossing it.
Reminiscing sidebar: When I was a kid, my dad and I went on a drift boat fly fishing trip down the McKenzie just a bit upstream from here with none other than Jim Goodpasture. For lunch he beached the boat, built a fire, and fried up some of the rainbow trout we had caught. To this day remains my favorite fishing trip ever.
