Someone should create a site where you can rate or comment about each receiver/shipper companies. Exclusively for drivers. That'll help with requesting better prices for loads and service.
Truckers need to push back hard against the FMCSA. The federal government is trying to regulate the trucking industry the way they do the airline industry. They've already started doing audits and shutting down small carriers with "safety violations". At some point in the not-too-distant future, the only entities with the resources to comply with the regulations will be large carriers. Small trucking operations will be choked out because they do not have the capital to comply with the destructive bureaucracy. Because they started so slow and innocuously I don't think truckers recognized the poison that has been injected into the industry, but, we better wake up really damned quickly.
I got one funny thing to say....your camera angles are hilarious sometimes....lol. That rent-a-cop's pants were falling off because his mommy forgot to zip him...lol.
I've been driving for 20 years and something that I started doing I'd say about 2-3 years ago, is check the reviews about a new place I'm about to go to. that way I can have an idea if I'm going to be there long or not and prepare myself for it.
Coca-Cola is the same way! I spent 12 hours waiting on a door in Connecticut. Then went inside and asked, the lady on the first shift had thrown my name in the trash! Im glad I checked or I would have been there the whole night !
Has anyone tried sending a note or a video of this poor management of warehouse control to their head office to show them what you guys deal with. It's just simple respect you deserve, instead of inefficient time wasted.
I haven’t been there in awhile, thank goodness, but I use too go to a Dr. Pepper/Keurig in Edison, New Jersey I believe. Never gave a crap about us. I was late one day, do too previous delivery, and I waited over 6 hours.
Wow, what can be done when the receiver uses YOUR trailer as a storage facility ??? Send them a bill and threaten them with late fees if they don't pay? That's nuts
If your tired, lay down regardless if they say; we'll be right out to get you. They most likely will pound on your door or call you or the yard dog will honk his horn at you. This usually wakes me up right away.
Pepsi was one of the worst. I worked for a Grocery Company and we were the Cutomer. They still made us wait...and that was in the 70's-90"s. Looks like nothing has changed.
The worst load I ever did was a DHL/Microsoft load.. It was an entire trailer floor stacked with new Pentium processors. The receiver in Miami took 3 stinkin days to unload it
I worked at tql for 4 months and we would try and make 700 dollar profit on the loads a broker here has all the Pepsi lanes and stuff and as a trainee you make Brooke's more money and they make it impossible to be a Brooker and to make good money if you.dlnt make the numbers one time you get fired. So we will have a lane say from Tennessee to Florida customer pays us say 1600 bucks we are not gonna lay the dispatcher or trucker no more then 900 for the lane so they can get there commission checks. If customer doesn't pay them by the end of pay period and your commission isn't over your salary you loose all the commission money and get your tiny salary and it sucks and if you do make it for commission it's usually on average 60 to 100 more only then your salary it's a scam to lure college kids In who have never worked and make it seem like it's wolf of Wallstreet type money you can make all through your training for 6 months o quite after 3 it's bull crap
Can you get away with not delivering it on time without getting dinged for it? Would be nice to park it somewhere for a while and wait for them to call asking where it is, then telling them your next! lol
I worked for tql and quit after 3 months I hated how un ethical and un truthful they wanted us to be to get loads booked and it took hours some days to get lanes booked because 90 percent of the lanes we book or get is because that companies logistics group can not get it booked so they sell us the lane
And we they can track you as well if you do the cell phone message thing as soon as you text us off that on our computer program we can ping your phone and see where your at I don't work there anymore it's a scam and they make it impossible for tql employees to make money and make us do check calls every two hours while the driver is driving and always a problem when the truck get to pick up or get to destination and Florida lanes and new york interstate lanes good luck booming for tqls pay to drivers for it. Drivers have the power not the brokers really on the price
That's reason I won't normally carry food loads...you're going to sit forever getting loaded and/or unloaded. I take them only if the broker is willing to take stupid money and pay detention.
Publix warehouses are crap also. If i get a load offer to Lakeland Fl i just say no thanks. Dispatch is you don't what this load is,i say food they say yes i say Publix no thanks. Stay safe. Drive smart😷😷
My sympathies and thanks for the heads up BUT you said you knew how bad they were so....... I find your vids informative if a little padded for length. I didn't know about Peps but I know what uber is ......
12 hours to load empty cans for coke. California. They told me their trucks had priority. Come on! 12hrs? And, they called in on me. I was too early. Lol! Ridiculous.
I don't mess with them. Coke, pepsi, they all suck. They all tell you the same thing. Their trucks come first, that's their excuse. Broker sings these names, he lost me.
Sami Ahmed broker emailed me back and begged to pass on detention since they paid $850 on 200 miles I didn’t want to fight for it so I said whatever this time 🤷🏽♂️
If the FMCSA would fine shippers & receivers like they do truck drivers then this would stop.

I’ve been there. Got into with that exact guard about my appointment number. Unreal
JP Blanton it’s insane the power trip

Been doing that since day one(2013)
@@Marcovision google the place you’re going to and go to “reviews”
19 years out here, never change
Pepsi, McLane, Amazon, Walmart DC. Dont even bother.
Chris McGuire pretty much
Walmart any place. they suck.
Walmart is normally 2 hrs minimum
Add Kroger to that list
Coca-Cola is the same way! I spent 12 hours waiting on a door in Connecticut. Then went inside and asked, the lady on the first shift had thrown my name in the trash! Im glad I checked or I would have been there the whole night !
It’s frustrating for sure
Has anyone tried sending a note or a video of this poor management of warehouse control to their head office to show them what you guys deal with.
It's just simple respect you deserve, instead of inefficient time wasted.
This is why we will be looking up reviews for every shipper and receiver before we signed rate confirmation.
Joshua Jorgensen exactly 😎👌🏽
@@alexshortsplus I'm not sure a business can delete bad reviews on google. I dont use uber app

Dispatcher: It has to be there by Monday morning, No questions asked.
Receiver: Oh man, We can't accept this freight until Tuesday morning 6 AM.
Jeff Herdzina heard it too many times right 🙄
Wow, what can be done when the receiver uses YOUR trailer as a storage facility ??? Send them a bill and threaten them with late fees if they don't pay? That's nuts
Good luck getting freight out of there! You will have to bounce up to georgia or alabama for freight!
They have so much product, they are never in a hurry
That’s true and this is truck life one more thing PepsiCo every where same problem. Indian,Michigan,New Jersey ,Pennsylvanian or more.
the truckers should form a union or strike till shippers follow a list of rules
That’s why I run open decks. Someone wants their product gone and the other end needs it.
This is an old video but I like hauling freight for TQL they will immediately revise rate sheet for lumper fees and pay you $50/ hour detention.
If your tired, lay down regardless if they say; we'll be right out to get you. They most likely will pound on your door or call you or the yard dog will honk his horn at you. This usually wakes me up right away.
Spencer Chose yes I do this yet I was trying to be proactive and get done ASAP so I could get out of FL

I've Been to that place before... It sucked even worse as a company driver.
That's just the broker trying to get you there
Try public the worst Jacksonville and Orlando if you make 3000 that load they will make to be for 1.12 miles
