After being introduced to the TLM at a parish about 20 miles away from me, and being treated unjustly at the parish nearest me, I switched to the TLM parish… and since then, my understanding of Catholicism and the Catholic Church has been becoming more and more like what Fr. Wathen said here. I’m not completely on the same page with him just yet, but I’m getting there. ✝️

For the most part Novus Ordo “Catholics” do not even believe basics teachings of the Catholic Church (let alone their acceptance of false ecumenism and indifferentism), which means they reject Catholic faith. It is hard to image that many of them will be in heaven when many of them reject the Catholic faith. This faith which is necessary for salvation. There is only one true faith and that is the Traditional Catholic faith (not the Novus Ordo religion). Those Traditional thinking or minded Catholics hanging out in the Novus Ordo should be careful. The Latin Mass only catholics also worship that Liturgy instead of God. They elevate Latin language as the only valid one to use in Liturgy. They also worship the priest instead of Christ, the chants instead of singing from the heart to worship God.

We had absolutely zero traditional Catholics and definitely no missions or churches 4 years ago when I was conditionally baptized but now there is mass within 60 miles of my house at least 3 times a month. God provides! Watching mass and reading your missal on Sunday along with a spiritual communion is the best we can do when there is not a mass. But attending a false mass is not an option. While the things you mentioned (latin, ad orientem, gestures etc) are good traditions that deserve to be preserved still they aren't what makes a Mass to be a Mass. Additionally, the excuse for the liturgical reform wasn't that the Old Rite is an incentive to impiety (which would indeed be anathema), but rather the excuse of lay participation and making it "more clear" to the laity what the Liturgy is. The liturgy was impoverished at the process, but not even remotely close to the point of being invalid. Also, you seem to identify the Traditional Roman Rite with the Mass itself, as if the two were the same thing, when they are not, other Rites have always existed in the Church.

There is only one true faith and that is the Traditional Catholic faith (not the Novus Ordo religion).
Those Traditional thinking or minded Catholics hanging out in the Novus Ordo should be careful. The more they expose their faith to heresy and error (if they even have faith) by being in the Novus Ordo religion, they test God and put themselves in an occasion of sin to losing it altogether.

The Catholic Church (not the Novus order counterfeit) teaches that the Catholic faith is necessary for salvation. The virtue of faith is necessary. If one rejects one teaching of the church (and many in the new order do; that is not high minded but simply reality) they can not be saved. Without faith it is impossible to please God as St Paul says

The Latin Mass only catholics also worship that Liturgy instead of God. They elevate Latin language as the only valid one to use in Liturgy. They also worship the priest instead of Christ, the chants instead of singing from the heart to worship God.

What if you live in an area where there is only the Novus Ordo? How do you keep your Sunday obligations?

We had absolutely zero traditional Catholics and definitely no missions or churches 4 years ago when I was conditionally baptized but now there is mass within 60 miles of my house at least 3 times a month. God provides! Watching mass and reading your missal on Sunday along with a spiritual communion is the best we can do when there is not a mass. But attending a false mass is not an option. Prayers for you!

What is ironic is that those imposters who created the Novus Ordo believe the True Mass, the Latin Mass (with all it parts and detail ie Latin, facing the priest, the mannerisms of the priest etc and what the Mass actually represents) are incentives to impiety. This is why the created a new one
@@StAnthonyPaduaRadTrad The essence of the Mass is the Sacrifice of Christ's Body and Blood offered by the priest for the worship of God, reparation for our sins, thanksgiving and petitions. While the things you mentioned (latin, ad orientem, gestures etc) are good traditions that deserve to be preserved still they aren't what makes a Mass to be a Mass. Additionally, the excuse for the liturgical reform wasn't that the Old Rite is an incentive to impiety (which would indeed be anathema), but rather the excuse of lay participation and making it "more clear" to the laity what the Liturgy is. The liturgy was impoverished at the process, but not even remotely close to the point of being invalid. Also, you seem to identify the Traditional Roman Rite with the Mass itself, as if the two were the same thing, when they are not, other Rites have always existed in the Church.
