  • Soap designing a rimmed Melt 'N Pour soap with embellishments. The use of a Pringle's Can is my favorite way to make a rim soap and since my family LOVES Pringles, it's a perfect match! Thank you so much for watching!
    ** INGREDIENTS NEEDED **
    - Clean and dry Pringle's Can of a 3" diameter PVC pipe 9 inches tall
    - 13-14 ounces Clear soap base
    - 28 ounces of Shea Butter soap base
    - Fondant Punch : www.amazon.com/dp/B07D3QRBPY/...
    - Glycerin
    - Mica
    - Kaolin Clay (usage rate of 1 teaspoon per pound of soap base)
    - Honey Powder (usage rate of 1/2 teaspoon per pound of soap base)
    - Fragrance Oil (Please refer to your fragrance oil IFRA guideline for the proper percentage usage)
    - Rubbing Alcohol
If you’d like to replace the Shea Butter soap base, you can use another opaque soap base of your choice such as White, Goat's or Cocoa Butter.
Also, adding an additional 5% of vegetable glycerin per pound of soap used will make the rim more pliable. Don't wait for your layers to completely cool, you do want them slightly warm so it is pliable. Once the rim is inserted into a full size Pringles can, it will take approximately 28 ounces of additional soap to fill the middle. Of course, this would be less if you are inserting embeds or even making a half a can.
