Anything other than faith, is a work. And we are not saved by works. TURNING from your sin, IE STOPPING your sins, repenting of your sin by SAYING you are sorry, ETC are all works. STOPPING, SAYING ETC are all actions/works done by the individual. Faith is not a work.
