It happened every summer of my six years as a counselor (and not just to one camper, more like 10). We don't send them home though, we just give the laxatives and let them go when the sanitaries are empty
I read it exactly when it came on the skit and just ignored the strange coincidence for like 8 seconds after before realizing how strange that was

Joseph did the 6 year old so well. He did the pronunciations so well, and the little movements a normal 6 year old does.

This was an amazingly good SNL sketch. I have never seen Kate McKinnon play a young child before, and she did it so well, I did not even realize it was her to begin with. I am so used to seeing Kate McKinnon playing politicians, both male and female, so this was a refreshing change, and very cute.

The subtle choices in this skit are what makes it amazing. Truthfully so well acted by all. It’s funny to get so introspective about a goofy skit but look for the faces the off actors are making. Full commitment and high craft.
I was a camp counselor last summer and my friend and I recreated this.....we had to clean up the script a lot and got rid of Jeremy's character and the cafeteria lady......My friend played Joseph and did a bit to much ad-lib than planned but the kids loved it
