Yolngu Heart for Life 2024

Nutrition education on cardiac/heart health developed by dietetics students and Yolŋu educators from Flinders University, 2024. The video is designed to teach the Yolŋu community about the role of healthy ŋatha or food in maintaining a healthy heart. The story is spoken in Yolŋu matha and speaks about heart health with natural elements of the landscape, rivers, and water.
Flinders University acknowledges Yolŋu people as the Traditional Custodians of East Arnhem Land and pays respect to Elders past, and present. Flinders University respects Yolŋu cultural beliefs, heritage, and relationships to the land.
