- Hundreds of thousands of people are still without power in Texas nearly a week after Beryl roared ashore. The storm left a trail of destruction from Texas to Vermont, marking the latest "billion dollar" weather and climate disaster to impact the U.S. So far, there have been 15 such events in 2024. The increasing cost of extreme weather events has authorities looking to improve their response to them.

Texas seems woefully unprepared every time there are these storms that mess up their electricity infrastructure. You’d think the Texas government would’ve learned something and taken action by now after all they’ve been through with other storms in the past few years.
Don't be Woke!😂
And that cold spell that raced thru TX a few years ago, leaving people freezing to death. it's time for TX to go back to being a Blue state: Anne Richards, LBJ and Lloyd Bentsen.
@@blaydCA Why not? Becoming aware of problems is pretty useful.

@@blaydCA Well someone's whining.

Californians moving to these dumps ohh the horrors hahaha 😂
JOHN 3:16 FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD, THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, THAT WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH IN HIM SHOULD NOT PERISH, BUT HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE.
Its called weather not climate change.
You’re a climate change denier?
You believe the earth is flat?
@@lumberjackdreamer6267 I warn against debating these "CZcams experts". They know everything.
@@muhammad-bin-american what youtube experts?? Obviously you shouldnt just listen to CZcamsrs, but actual scientists have been talking about the climate changing for years
@@muhammad-bin-american
True. They got their CZcams degrees from trump university
The reason you say there are more billion dollar disasters is because now $1 billion. It’s not worth nearly as much as it used to be. So that it is easy to reach that bar when looking at a disaster causing $1 billion worth of damage. It is getting so bad that if you had a wheelbarrow to carry all the deflated dollar bills you need to buy food at the grocery store, if somebody robbed you what they would do is leave the money and steal the wheelbarrow. 😂😂😂
Really??? Wow, Texas is really suffering. My God, it's as horrible as wearing a mask. Red states 😂😂. Life in the MAGA paradise 😎
Please give me a billion dollars so I can prove how little it is worth…
All your ignorant reporters
