Thank you, this fixed the USB Loader problem that was causing it to freeze while loading games/not recognizing the Hard Drive!! Really appreciate the clear instructions!!

@@yasserahmed7646 Installing the cIOS part, mine must have been done incorrectly by previous owner, in the past I had to format the Wii & restart the process from the start so everything is fresh for the mod but that cIOS installation part fixed the problem I was having!!

Did this as and got it to work last night!! This does work! Things I would suggest is making sure your d2x settings are done right and try different sources on where you get your games! Also be patient I had to reset my Wii multiple times and this took me about 2 days to fully get working and get my first game to work. Thank you!!!
I want to add that there will be some files in the guys SD in wich he doesn’t show you how to get! This confused me at first but it is just bootmii and I believe all he did was back up his naan wich is not needed but I would suggest. Look up how to operate and download bootmii super easy. Also try redownloading your games back into your SD card or usb from that same website! Just had a game that didn’t work went to the same website same game redownloaded it and it worked right after

I have 3 questions:
1. Will the Wii break if I use it but I remove the SD card and USB in it?
2. Can you play disk games though USB Loader GX?
3. In the homebrewing your Wii tutorial that you made, you said to enable the block disk updates in Priiloader. Does that mean if I have that enabled, I won't be able to download updates to some disk games for the Wii?
For me i keep getting a dsi error? I had mine homebrewed for nearly a year and it has worked fine until now. Any ideas why?
im having a super weird issue, super mario bros wii shows up and can press play on it, but it just boots me back to the homebrew channel. could i be missing something?
I have a 256gb sd card formatted in fat32, transferred wii games through wii back up manager. Installed usb loader gx and did the cios step by step but the sd card does not show up on usb loader gx. All other emulators and wads work like snes and nes for example. Would you know why the sd card doesn’t show up on usb loader?
Hello! My usb loader gx freezes on certain games. For instance, Mario kart runs perfectly fine but Wii sports resort freezes as soon as I press A on it

Edit 05/15: I used the NUS Downloader instead of downloading them via Internet Connection in the cIOS Installer, I used the latest versions of d2x cIOS, of the cIOS Installer itself and Wii Backup Manager. I also tried different formats for my Hard Drive like WBFS and FAT32. And now it's working.

Hey. I’m using Wii Flow on a PAL Wii but when I play NTSC games in RGB on my CRT the screen goes red. Any ideas? (Screen is fine when in composite)
When I open USB loader gx it gives me black screen with a lot of codes and says stack error

I just tried this as explained and keep getting error when trying to use usb loader. error is (failed to load an ios usb loader gx requires a cios or ios58 with ahb access) any help is very apperciated!
followed the tutorial. get to the point of having usbloadergx screen where it would normally show all your downloaded games. Empty. any idea on how to fix it?

I found reinstalling the custom iso and making sure the wii is updated worked for me

Everything worked fine but I can't play mario kart but I can play new super mario bros and wii sports. Mario bros and wii sports load up just fine but mario kart just brings me back to the homebrew menu. Is this a bad file, a limit of gb file on the loader or my usb, or does the loader just not allow for some games to be played due to size or whatever?

You can do either one by itself. I just use both because it’s more organized for me that way and saves storage

Hey bro, bit of advice, make sure you're using the right game id. For every game there's two separate ids (one for America, one for Eurasia), and sometimes you can have grabbed the wrong one. Try switching them around

Have you found the solution. I’m in the same boat. The game shows up like if it’s there but when I click start it kicks me back. I only managed to get Wii sports and Mario and sonic

When I try to set up Yet Another Wad Manager (after clicking the icon from the Homebrew screen), my Wii remote completely freezes up and I cannot proceed. Essentially what happens is the lights turn off on my Wii remote and it is inoperable as soon as I get to the YAWMM screen where you are supposed to select the IOS version to use Any ideas what would cause this?
Solved: Wii remotes with Motion Plus embedded will not work with this step in the process.

Is there a way you can help me fit games that are larger than 4gb onto my SD card? Your tutorials have been extremely helpful since you do everything on a Mac (I don’t have a PC so finding videos is difficult).
You need to split the file up for games that are bigger than 4gb. You can either use Wii back up manager or for Mac users, I’ve found sites that split up files fast and easy

If your using the same sd card, put it on the root

Does the US version of the downloaded games work when i am in europe
The games and the console need to be from the same region for it to work, you can tell what region your Wii is if you go to your Wii settings

Hey I have a question every time I add more games onto my ubs go loader just takes me back to the Wii menu is there anyway to fix it?
What I’ve experienced in the past, it’s usually the game file itself and one good fix is to change the game iOS to 250 in game setting on usb loader or some games just don’t like usbloader unfortunately and a video imma upload soon is how to setup WiiFlow which is another application that reads games off of a hard drive/ sd card and the games that don’t work on usbloader tend to only work on Wiiflow

@@boxinggamingpro2323 no :( games that I copy from a disc using the + button works for some reason, so maybe anti piracy? You can try change your game iOS in settings to one of these 249, 250, 251 and try force the console default for video mode

It could be you put your CIOs installer codes wrong, I would go through the codes again. Here’s the official installer website where it shows you step by step how to set it up: wii.hacks.guide/cios.html
I tried to plug two USB Drives, one for the games and the other for the apps and wads. You need to format the Pen Drive with the games as a WBFS in Wii Backup Manager then transfer all your games on the USB drive and the other is for the apps. It worked for me, I had issues all night and this helped me
Plug usb drive back into computer delete the wan thing and reinstall it back into its desired folder
