I think this is the first video on the 940 that I heard a con or negative point about the shotgun. (the forearm) I could subscribe just for that. Oh and of course having the man himself on the phone; that's great.

Mossberg definitely saves money on the stock material. It feels very rigid, hollow and cheap. Does it matter? No. But they had to cut some costs somewhere.
@@BullShooterswithJeffJohnston Wonder if users could employ some aftermarket help in the form of a spray rubberized stuff, just give the forearm a coat and give it some grip/tack/sound deadening. I haven't looked to see if such a product exists.

I have a 940 Pro Field model. I do have some problems with certain slug ammo causing FTEs. Haven't had a chance to try it on clays but practiced loading and unloading my 6 shot and 7.5 shot shells without issue. So maybe it just doesn't like my cheap slugs. Time will tell.
Any update on the shells? I’m planning on buying one tomorrow

yes it is adjustable for LOP and drop at comb... I thought I answered your question two years ago; not sure how it got deleted. sorry about that

sorry for the late reply... 2 3.4 and 3... You can't load mini shells without a Mini Clip. (sold by a 3rd party vendor on Amazon)
Question between the versa Max and this 940 which one you will said has less recoil ?
VersaMax: It's heavier, its gas action somehow draws out the recoil impulse better than any other gas gun I know of, and mainly, its stock has a really soft gel comb insert.

oh yea. nearly all modern guns can as long as you don't use IM or Full chokes.
