Good quality salt isn’t bad for you. Eg Celtic salt, it’s full of minerals which your body needs such as magnesium. That stuff you have there is the worst kind. It is highly processed and very bad for you.

@@SherpasDay Yes, I was surprised to hear that since you are so active. I also have sciatica and osteoarthritis, so lifting Sammy is out for me. And she hates to jump up into the van so we have to boost her.
Our retriever is elderly and has had two surgeries and we have no option but to lift him on to the seat. It’s a struggle but we feel good once he’s comfortably on the seat.
Hydro seems to be helping a lot. He's not favoring his back legs as much. And he's talking to people. ❤
Jamie, I loved seeing Sherpa on the seat behind you. I think we all got a little teary eyed. It was so cute when he met the man in the hotel. He said “I am Sherpa. I’m from Cornwall.” 😊 Love and hugs to you both from Tennessee USA. 💕🐾

I can’t begin to tell you how happy you guys have made us with this one!!!!! I lost count on how many times I said “Oh my gosh the old Sherpa is back!” while watching this morning!!! To see him on the bench seat, an incredible bounce in his set and all topped off with his interaction with the staff at the Travelodge was so awesome to see…..Sherpa’s totally made my day start with the biggest smile. THANK YOU! I have been recovering from a recent emergency surgery and Sherpa is part of my daily routine to get me through and this one has done far more for my happiness then some of my meds… thanks for putting a little bounce back in my step, you made me so happy!! Love you guys!

A friend of mine, seeing some of my "pretty" bird photos from México, claimed she and her husband were "stalked" by grackles the whole time they were there 😅😅
In Oklahoma we call them Grackles, very noisy and they love hanging around in parking lots.

It made my heart so happy to see you lift Sherpa up onto the seat in the van 🥰 I could tell how much it meant to you having him up there close by and resting comfortably and Im thrilled for you that it was easier than you expected. When I was growing up we had a St Bernard and when she got older my dad made her all kinds of steps and ramps to get up on the bed or into vehicles but she refused to use any of them so he just lifted her up himself whenever he needed to. She was a big dog but we loved including her in everything we did. Our beloved furry companions make everything in life so much better ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

Hi, Jamie I just read an article from a vet that when feeding dried food to pets make sure you wet it, as dry food can dehydrate the pet also it is not natural. Bone broth, juices from steaming chicken, cooking beef, or just plain water to it. makes it easier to go down. Just a thought and you both look so happy for a short trip.

Mmm. My dog doesn't drink alot of water so I put plenty on her food but also use an egg cup half full of water with a tiny piece of dry food to tempt her. The vet said little dogs don't drink alot but I like to make sure she doesn't get dehydrated.
Does that go for cats as well?
@@yvonnelanese-coppola4999 our kitties vet prefers they get wet as often as possible. I've also read that since cats don't drink enough water at least half, if not all, of a cat's daily feedings should be wet cat food, but not the kind with the "gravy". That way we cat parents are helping our furbabies avoid getting dehydrated.
My 15 yr old cat gets wet and dry food and has a water fountain. 2 years ago she suddenly started throwing up bile in large amounts every day. I read alot and everyone said she had pancreatitis and to head to the vet immediately. ONE writer said that if she gets her canned food just once per day, to divide that amount into 3 and serve it, drowned in 1/3-1/2 cup of water, 3 times per day. We did and within 3 days she had fully recovered! I still give her the canned food 3x/day but now only add water to the morning and night food, leaving the afternoon feed as is. Every time she gets canned food, she also get a tablespoon or 2 of dry food. She is 15 with a healthy coat, happy demeanor, and only very slight mobility changes (can't jump quite as high). I will always feed her like this now.

So happy that Sherpa is feeling so much better! I think he missed going on adventures. All the new smells in the hotel and, of course, the attention he gets from the desk clerk!! I think he wanted a taste of the fish and onion rings.(I wanted some of that fish!! Looked so yummy!) So glad you are getting away for a couple of days. On to the adventures!!!!

When I went to my brothers at Xmas, just 2 days, I took 5 bags! One for my stuff and the others for my little cavapoo. Her favourite toys, towel, bedding, bed, treats, food, medicines, and some xmas presents. My brother thought I was moving in when he opened the front door😮😂

It's tough, I enjoy watching the trips a lot but now Sherpa is older I also feel sad he has to leave his garden for those trips, he loves being all cutesy in the grass 😊

Lovely to see you both off on a trip again! Sherpa was like: "Did you say Rabbit ears?!" I watched "The Birds" when I was about 7yrs old, Is so scared I wouldn't walk to school the next day because all the birds lined the trees and power lines!😂🫣 Brilliant to see our Sherps back on his seat and I could feel your excitement and relief through the screen. 🥰 Definitely a "beefcake" Jaime and I'm glad you kept the curls (although you look good no matter what) Great to see Sherps chatting away in the Travelodge too.
