New DITA VON TEESE FRAGRANCES Review + Chat With Perfumer Alexandre Ilan Who Created The Perfumes
These are the new Dita Von Teese fragrances that have just launched and Dalya and I are speaking about these fragrances today. Also, stay tuned til the end to hear my discussion with the perfumer behind these three fragrances. VICTRESSE (It is a woody- spicy fragrance, with a warm comforting base and some ambery facets. The most unisex of the trilogy.)
Notes: Sandalwood Alba, Guaiac Wood, Black Pepper, Rosewood, Olibanum, Bulgarian Rose Oil, Styrax, Cashmere Wood, Ambergris (Ambroxan)
Accords: Woody, Spicy, Warm, Powdery, Amber, Resinous, Earthy, Smoky
VANITEESE (It is a floral powdery fragrance, inspired by the scent of makeup, dusting powders and Dita’s favorite “Les Météorites” beads from Guerlain. It has some vintage vibes like Après l’ondée…)
Notes: Orris Roots, Diviniris, Violet, Powdery Musks, Heliotrope, Mimosa, Orange Blossom, Cashmere Wood, Vetiver, Carnation
Accords: Creamy, Sweet, Floral, Powdery, Musky, Woody, White Flowers, Earthy,
*Diviniris is a Symrise Captive molecule that smells like Orris roots and suede.
VEDETTE (Dita wanted a floral bouquet like a faceted soliflore, inspired by an English rose in a romantic dewy garden. It is quite musky and soft ambery too.)
Notes: Rose Infusion/Turkish Rose Absolute, Geranium Rosa, Pink Pepper, Peony, Sandalwood, Velvet Musks, Ambergris, Heather Blossom
Accords: Spicy, Fresh, Floral, Aromatic, Musky, Powdery, Sweet, Rose

Her show in Vegas is phenomenal, I highly recommend it. The costumes and celebration of old school vegas showgirls makes for a beautiful show. VIt is a visual masterpiece highlighting burlesque, femininity with a nod to her fetish roots. I was pleasantly surprised with how enjoyable the show is, easily the best act in town currently.
I got to see her last year. I love how much research and detail she puts in all of her creations.
I smelled them as soon as they came out in a german drugstore (Rossmann), so far I bought Vaniteese (already on sale for about 40Euro) and I'm really enjoying it. I do not think, that they are a hit so far, there was no advertisement and I heard about them from Dita fans. The bottle also feels wonderful. Since I saw the bottles on your shelf in the background, I was hoping for a review. Thx a lot and have a nice day.

I love Vaniteese. The iris note in this is just gorgeous. Amongst the makeup fragrances I know this is one of the nicest and a steal for the price.

Saw her perform in Philly a few years ago. Amazing amazing show! Incredibly talented and she easily wore the most Swarovski Crystal throughout the show, I've ever seen....it was impressive. Great vid. I'm definitely curious.

I am a Dita fan and the soft pink bottle sounds right up my alley. I am definitely interested in these. She’s one of the few celebrity fragrance collabs that makes sense.

The Iris one sounds so good! It’s my favorite note lately. Of course I don’t “need” another Iris perfume (I have 3) but you know… they all sound good and I like that they are keeping the prices reasonable.

I saw her show in SF when she was touring last year. She and her troupe are amazing!
These sound interesting and I love the bottles. Victresse is likely to be the one I'd enjoy most, but Dalya's comments on Vaniteese have me wanting to at least try it out as well. I'm a sucker for iris after all.

I am very, very tempted. They seem to fuse vintage and modern sensibilities.
Dita is a class act. The bottles are very much on brand. She has great taste in perfume. I hope they sell in the US soon. Also, price point? I’m hoping they are affordable considering it’s a celeb fragrance.

If they smell as good as reviewed here then 49€ is a great price.

Bottles remind me of Merchant of Venice… I guess I’m one of those few who actually appreciate Agent Provocateur scents; without even sniffing these I’m sort of hoping of a mix.

What’s the stink like?
As soon as they deliver through Europe, I'll be buying a bottle. I only found 2 shops that deliver within Germany.
You can ONLY buy them in German Rossmann and Douglas and those stores dont even deliver outside of Germany. The worst distribution l've seen in years! Good luck to people who want to get it

I'm from Germany and I have them all. I love them all, but Vedette is my favorite. I just love the smell of roses and peonies. 😊
Vedette sounds like it would be similar to Rosenrot ❤️ Vaniteese should be like Replica Lipstick On (RIP) and Victresse should be like her 2011 DvT release (RIP).
