- Here’s the unpleasant news: The typical tenure of a pastor after a major building project is twenty-two months. Over half of the churches in the United States have a set of plans that will never be built. To top it off, construction is the second most litigated industry in the America, behind medical. Some church pastors will deal with these figures by choosing not to build. Some will continue moving forward alone and often become one of these statistics. The good news is that many pastors will seek out those who have built to gain counsel and wisdom. I hope to be a help to those who have decided to move forward. Dear pastor praise the Lord,i am pastor.nagarajnaik shine ,who is serving the lord in a town called davanagere Karnataka state south indian , here by i am running Sunday service in renting house and so much problem there from neighbouring houses and we have been changed many houses in order run Sunday service,but at lost we decided to build house and church at any cost and the same we have buyed a pice of land 30*40 and started to build by faith down house and upper prayer hall,we have done some of work but last stage we struggling to finish work due to financial crises,pls pray and support we would great full to you, thanking you.

I can not give you exact numbers because i don't have exact requirements but you are likely going to be looking at around 200 x 200 with 20 to 25 ft sidewalls.

God bless you for the good work that you are doing. I'm a Rev. Minister in Ghana. Could you please support us with a grant to roof our chapel which is at the roofing stage? In spite of our condition, we are still spreading the good news to other places. We have started two more churches in different locations. In the case of one, a member has leased her land for the use of the church temporarily and with the other one, they worship in a member's house. Any support will be very much appreciated.

How much cost to built church like the in AL?
Hi Mike, if you are just contracting it out you are probably looking at 1.5 to 2.5 million. If you do a lot of the work yourself and are willing to work as the general contractor you may be able to work that down to 500 to 800 thousand. That's for the building and site improvements. Keep in mind that a big part of our budget was brick, concrete parking, and site improvements. The porch and awning were costly. You may not need those features to start. You can always do metal and brick later or put down grave and add concrete when you have funds available. I always recommend that you keep your debt low.

How much can this building cost
Something like this right now would likely run about 1.5 to 2.5 million here in the USA. If you do much of the work yourself you can save a great deal on that.
