- The Phillies did not see Dodgers superstar Mookie Betts in Los Angeles this week because of an injury, but they might see him in October in the postseason.
Ruben Amaro Jr. coached Betts when they were with the Boston Red Sox, so Betts joined The Phillies Show to take a stroll down memory lane, including how Amaro instilled confidence in Betts as a player and base stealer. Betts also talked about playing in Philadelphia, his podcast’s most recent guest in Aaron Nola, who’s next on his Phillies’ wish list for a podcast guest and more.

Was at the game last night that was awesome work by the bullpen! Jose and Orion worked through their innings and the offense was squaring up balls all night. Great win last night I’ll be back for the Saturday night game!
