  • Flower Forming Foam Beginners Guide
    In this tutorial I create two styles of flowers using foam. This is a beginners video showing you how to use simple techniques to create beautiful flowers from flower forming foam. This is part one of four videos in this 'mini' style series. There will also be a wedding card, 2 scrap cards and a showstopper. I hope you enjoy!

    Lovely flowers Gemma. (I've followed Lady E Designs who had lots and lots of different types of flower tutorials using foamiran, paper and fabric. Emeilia is very clear to follow too)

    Thank you so much for this video. I have always been a bit afraid of giving flower forming foam a try but had some in a Papercraft Society Box and have so far not used it. This has really made me want to give it a try. It doesn't look as complicated as I had thought. Many thanks.

    Thanks again Gemma- I think I will give this a try soon👍🏻

    Great tutorial Gemma. I learned so much. I was working all wrong. Tweezers who knew😜. My burned finger tips thank you. I was also holding my iron in an upright position. Having it upwards makes more sense. Thank you for sharing ❤

    I've only used flower forming foam a couple of times. But because I use a normal iron, I feel like I'm all fingers and thumbs.
    You do make it look easy. Wish I'd know the trick with the wire, I really struggled forcing the folded stamens through the hole without it

    Thanks Gemma for a very informative tutorial, I loved the way you broke it down, making it so much easier to understand how to create these beautiful flowers. I've always wanted to try to make these but was scared to, but now i'm going to try and make some. Looking forward to seeing your wedding card xx

    Fabulous tutorial. Clear and informative. What temp do you set your iron to? I only have a normal iron. X

    • @gemmaleighcrafts
      @gemmaleighcrafts  Před rokem +1

      A low temp, maybe try silk. Do a tester and adjust the setting. You will know of it’s too hot because it will shrink very quickly. Some shrinking is normal but you need to have it on the heat for 5-10 seconds. I hope that helps 😊

    Great tutorial. Is there any chance you could make a wedding card using the made to suprise 3d dies, the ones that came out in March, looking for some inspiration? Thanks if you can .
