I use RRS L Brackets and Lens replacement Feet but have a Gitzo Series 3 Tripod and use Acritech Panning Head and Levelling base and Nodal Slide for Panos and a Kirk BH1 Ball head although I wish I had the RRS BH55
I noticed my RRS leg when I do 1/4 turn and it doesn't go down smoothly. I checked nothing wrong, I wonder should I apply some Super Lube Synthetic Grease on sleeve channel to make it better? Any comment?
During the life of your tripod, you may never have the need to remove the top legs from the apex assembly. Just maintain the lower sections and twist locks regularly if shooting in adverse conditions.
Where does the debris shield go? I have two popped out, don’t know where to go.
