Whats great about And Justice For All is that you can use the original recordings as a bass backing track
That's terrible actually
That’s absolutely right my friend! Been using the record for just that actually. 👍
😁
This finally showed up on my reccomended.
With the story behind this song I knew I had to be missing something in the original recording, amazing work
could you tell me what is the story of this song?
pleasee i didnt find it on the internet
@@p3dro734this song was made to remember Cliff, iirc most of this song is from riffs and solos that Cliff burton left behind before dying
@@Wow-ds8eq Riffs and solos that Cliff Burton left behind before dying, which Lars insisted be turned down so that they're practically inaudible.
It's sad watching covers to see what was barely audible in the final release.
Fantastic cover as usual, great to watch to understand how to play.
"Sometimes a riff is just so fucking good... you wanna hear it for the next 10 minutes."
You're the rare person, who played this "chello" sound in the interlude on bass, as it supposed to be. I'm pleased 👍👍👍
He isn't the only one
@@pinkbastard2.080 I said "rare person", I haven't said that he's the only one
On the album that part is a bass too. Is not cellos or strings synth.
@@joseaaa1985 and that's what I talk about 🤷
Now this song has a bass line... Lol
Congrats man, you're very good!
And here's why I love bass
Japan has more respect for their bass players than we do
Excellent work, absolutely fantastic...one of their best, from my favourite Metallica album.
Que obra maestra!! Mi admiración a El Canal del Bajo desde Santiago de León de Caracas, Venezuela
This sounds so damn great with the bass.
RIP Cliff.
And Justice for Jason
Amazing tone you're getting with that rig. Love it.
I've been searching a decent bass cover of this song for ages, bravo! I only have a question: which are the tabs for the bridge from 5:30 on?
he showed you it's mostly repeating just search around for it on your fretboard
Pretty sure you can find the tabs for it on songsterr
Beautiful bass sound! I love this :-D
I started my Metallica journey early 2000s and listened to the AJFA CD and as great as the music was ,it just sounded slightly dry. Thia is a great cover.
Wow. 2 minutes in and my ears!! Fkn' amazing 👏
Perfect bass line awesome BEAUTY
Jason would absolutely be so proud of you for playing the bass guitar on the Justice Album
Шикарная бас партия, шикарное звучание🤘
Fantastic sound
Awesome!
This is perfect!!!
Amazing!!
I love that piece. Makes me sad and happy in the same moment. Happy that finally someone did it justice (pun intended...) and sad when comparing to the intricacies of Orion or Cthulhu...
Cliff was such a GENIUS...
Awesome work 🤘
Great cover as usual. Kind of a shame that we couldn't see the interlude though, it's the best part of the song. Maybe putting pictures of settings during the main riff would have been better.
It was never meant to be played by anyone except for cliff
I had never listened to this song in its entirety and didn’t know why people would quote what it says in the song until today during math class when I was taking a test and started crying because cliff is a big inspiration of mine.
Top sound!!!!
Wicked logo - BASS
Cool!!!
I can lay in my bed tell early in the morning listening to Mr BASS huh youtube under my covers and not get busted which im going to do tonight huh Mr BASS.
If you are watching this also watched the and justice for all album cover 🤙🏻
Jason is an excellent bassist, but I agree that copying exactly what James was playing wasn't a smart move. Doesn't matter the tone, his playing is lost underneath the guitar. He should've done SOMETHING to make the basslines stand out
I think James and Lars made him play what he did and didn't give him room to improvise until they played live. As the new guy he couldn't really argue with them.
@@lucaslorenz8580 They definitely didn't. James has said that Jason would copy him to the extent of James having to turn around so he couldn't see what he played. Both Lars and James have said they couldn't stand the fact Jason was such a fan and they wanted him to stand up for himself more and show individuality.
They never confirmed this, but I have a suspicion they turned his bass down on ...Justice to see if he would speak up and tell them to turn it up again.
@@lucaslorenz8580 The "new guy". They apparently called him "Jason Newkid" and tricked him into eating a ball of wasabi when he joined the band. But then when Rob joined them, they offered him a MILLION DOLLARS!
RIP Cliff
ya right this is last song cliff OMG.
Respect God bless you!
Its too good
Fantástico!
Gosh so beautiful
Again and again I want listen this masterpiece Metallica is the best
excellent :)
hello, can you help me? I wanted to cover to live is to die, but doing the whole melody of the song, when the orchestral part arrives, I wanted to see if there was any effect that simulates.
it's a good idea to watch bass covers from the album And Justice For All :D
🤘🏻🤘🏻
I Think this was their best album ever, and the best song ever! I still get the chills at 4:29.
Sadly, I think this was also their last album worth listening to.
One exception is only one song…
Hardwired to Self Destruct album
Now That We’re Dead song is the only “new” Metallica I really think Slams hard.
so like are you using the official tab book? i learned this album on guitar first and find especially for this song i really like playing the guitar parts to liven up the otherwise very boring monotony of this song.
Cliff and Jason would be proud
Is there anyway to get this in an audio only download???
🤘🖤Yes
5:13 !😱
Throws me in tears every time, I don't know why and I don't care. This is bliss.
Which is the name effect at 5:13 ?
That thing sounds nastyyyyyyyy
The same bass 5 string with trace elliot 1080 compressor ampifier..2004 model
4:43 why F sounds like G?😁
Good job. Respect from Russia🤘
If Cliff was in Justice album maybe the bass sounds more like a third guitar with tons of distortion and effects, something like Anesthesia , im think
painkiller this performance is
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
this is last song cliff burton.
why is this unlisted !!!!!!!!!!!!
THANK YOU literally the only one that exists
The only bass cover that's legit. 4:58 feels like the moment Metallica shifted into its present iteration. Not bad, but not the Metallica from the 1st 3 albums.
Rip 🪦 Cliff Burton
you can kinda hear the bass in the original song if you listen carefully
For sure, especially in the interlude once Lars comes back in, and during James’ solo. It finally stuck out to me after hearing it in the work in progress - rough mix version in the deluxe box set on Spotify but it’s definitely there in the studio version!
now you're talking!
yes yes yes
louder
The Andy Irvine of metal. 😅
I would have liked if Cliff Burton played on this METALLICA song.
Bass guitar cover sir
Bust out the pick for Jason!
En una sola cuerda?? Oye que facil ah!
Cliff Burton not dead!
You shoud be in Metallica but i guess work experience matters most to them..
but Jason played with a pick ,im 100%sure
I got a Razorback bass that with soap bars it will be more aggressive
James play the Bass on this song not jason
No disrespect to Jason, but now we can hear this song closer to the way Cliff would have played it, as the song consists of various bass parts that he wrote but never were recorded for use on an album.
Lars and that lousy snare
...now drumms are not hearable,- Lars will be angry!!!
Everybody here but david and gason rats on me even the other staff cause they like getting me in trouble and whenever MOM is home they tell her everything except david and gason do not Mr BASS and jenny jones just called MOM a ho and she isnt huh BASS.
They basically limited Jason to one string (then almost muted the bass) on those albums, when they should have went bass heavy... To highlight the loss of best performance in the band, with the new best part of the band. Metallica lost their island, but gained a diamond in the rough. Then threw it away. 😑
