HMS Prince | Assassin's Creed Black Flag Legendary Ship Encounter

HMS prince is the easiest legendary ship in black flag. If you have a fully upgraded ship, you can just attack it and brute force your way through. Bracing really isn't necessary, and the ship is far too slow to be annoying. If you do somehow lose where it is, the flashing lighting will be your only chance to see it as it isn't on the compass and can't be tracked. It's essentially just a man o war with more health.
