Temples Reopen In Maharashtra

Easing further in Unlock 6.0, the Maharashtra government has now given permission to reopen religious and worship places in the state from Padwa. The development comes after series of protests and criticism on the Uddhav Thackeray-led Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government from the Opposition BJP, and Raj Thackeray-led Maharashtra Navnirman Sena. "All religious places including temples will be allowed to open from Padwa," the Chief Minister announced.
