As a fan of the OG He-Man I can say that this score hit all the right feels as Adam transformed into He-Man!, it's a more energetic and rock version of the original score..
And the way Adam says the words "By the power of Greyskull!.... I.. Have.. THE POWER!!" It feels so much more like the original!.. love it!!

I don’t like the character writing but everything else is solid, especially this *GODLY* soundtrack and animation.
i thought the character writing for orko, he-man, evil-lyn, skeletor, and others were solid besides a few exceptions like teela as a new he-man fan. i'm planning to watch the other materials of he-man including the 2002 he-man cartoon and i'm currently watching the 1983 series. it's very formulaic, that's for sure. but i think the soundtrack and animations are a high point of the series and i'm excited for part 2

A lot of people missed that Teela had to ascend to Sorceress in her own right & come out of He Man’s shadow
S1 also directly contrasts this with Evil Lyn being granted the power by Skeletor and how that backfires

Sorry but this series so far has been a nice nostalgic trip but that’s as far as it goes, Kevin lied to the fans on part 1 and also lied about part 2, a complete insult to the He man fan base.

Really enjoyed, both the new seasons! Even the music is top drawer!
I was disappointed with season 1, but you just cant' go wrong with Bear McCreary soundtrack. He also did a fantastic job with the God of War (2018) and King of the Monsters soundtrack, and this transformation theme is pretty badass.

This has been established since the Mini-Comics. Now the Masters of the Universe Movie, That was a legitimate Bait and Switch. First they send them to Earth then have them focus on characters that have fuck all to do with Motu or foreshadow anything I mean I could see it if the girl were say Queen Marlena's mom or something and helping her insured He-Man being born but there were no ties whatsoever. That's what a real Bait and Switch looks like. Teela being important in Revelation was just... Tuesday.

When I first heard it all I felt excitement and powerful like I can do anything in the universe. Bear McCreary truly is amazing I love the music so so much I hear it everyday whenever I feel down and bored. I love this show and the fact they finally give Adam a.k.a He man the spotlight in season two because it's not a he man tv show without HE MAN.

True, the story could've been better, but it honestly the show as a whole wasn't that bad. Powerhouse Animation really killed with the animation. I didn't even know Bear was behind the soundtrack.

Desafortunadamente Revelation no podia ser exactamente como la serie clasica de Filmation por asunto de derechos legales. En los 90's Mattel estaba en una situacion desesperada y vendio los derechos a la serie clasica de Filmation a Universal, mientras que Mattel se quedo solamento con los derechos a la linea de juguetes. Esta nueve serie de Netflix es autorizada por Mattel y por eso solamente puede estar basada sobre la linea de juguetes. Para evitar problemas legales con Universal se acordo de que la nueva serie aunque podia ser similar en ciertos aspectos a la serie clasica, tenia que ser por lo menos 25% diferente. Por eso vemos tales cosas como la cruz de He-Man ahora siendo una H estilizada, nueva musica de transformacion y tambien una nueva escena de transformacion, y nuevos uniformes para los personjes despues del primer capitulo de la nueva serie.Los personajes son lo suficiente similares para que se puedan reconocer pero a la misma vez tienen cosas sutilmente diferentes--como por ejemplo Orko. Los derechos van a pasar completamente a Universal dentro de uno o dos años. Esto es la razon por la cual se esta viendo 2 series nuevas de He-man en el presente. Mattel le quiere sacar el jugo a la propiedad intelectual antes de perder los derechos completamente.

Just finished season 2. All I will say is...those who discount the show for lying to them...I really encourage you to give it a chance. He-man is the main character. The show goes full ham in season 2 and it reminded me of death of superman for season 1. Focus was shifted to get him back...be patient it gets really good

Really good is a bit high but it got better than season 1. Some really epic scenes. But that ending on balcony was really patronising. Like "Sure I will always need you. You are my big soldier and you will always be needed to take care of henchmen like Pigboy or Goat Man but big threats will be mine from now on."
@@MarshalLtd I don't think it was that patronizing. She called him 'my hero.' I mean Im the first to call out that type of bs when I see it but frankly I think it wasn't here in this show. Or maybe I've just grown accustomed to it, like a bad fart in the room, eventually you dont smell it anymore.
