- In this video, I'm comparing the BISSELL Crosswave Cordless Max vs. the BISSELL PROheat 2x. I'm deep cleaning my living room area rug with the BISSELL PROheat 2X and will compare the performance and results to the Crosswave Cordless Max. This is the comparison I'm looking for!! It's great! Finally, someone compared the Crosswave with a carpet shampooer. But all the marks and dots on the area rug just make it hard to tell the results when watching from a video. My sense is that the rug is still as dirty as it was...only the pet hairs were removed..and that's pretty much it.
Thank you! The Bissell Proheat was able to exact dirt from the rug. This rug is so hard to clean because of all the grooves and different pile of carpet. Overall, the Proheat did a good job but I was hoping it was going to fluff up the carpet to make it look new again.
The crosswave doesn't replace the need for a carpet cleaner. The cross wave is for daily cleaning it vaccums and mops and refreshes to he carpet your still going to need a carpet cleaner for deep cleanings
Due to the type of carpet it is, and the pattern, I could see absolutely no difference in the before and after.

If you have flat area rug, it seems the cross wave is fine for that, as opposed to deeply carved areas in the rug…
Great video I think the crosswave is great for daily cleanings the proheat is more for deep clean days.

I used to have that kind of pro heat and yes mine did have the heater
If you ever want to deep clean and try to get more of that hair out.. try pressure washing it!! I swear by that.

I’m up for trying it. I would love to see all the fur blasted off. My next rug when I’m ready to replace it will definitely be flat no grooves.

The dogs always want to be part of the action. 🤣The ProHeat is great if you only want to wash carpet and the Crosswave is perfect for cleaning hard surfaces and refreshing area rugs. Either Bissell will be a great addition to your cleaning routine.
If you think of the carpets there is no between: the crosswave is made to be used on floor AND on carpets... the other one only for carpets.
I have the new proheat pet revolution 2x (not pro) cuz I heard the attachments aren't great honestly havent uses yet. But the dirty water and clean water are separate tanks. I purchased the rinse and storage tray that is separate like the bissell crosswave comes with.
I like that Bissell changed over to separate tanks for the clean and dirty water. The design of the older tank isn’t very easy to clean and doesn’t allow to completely dry. I didn’t know Bissell had a rinse and storage tray for the revolution but it sounds like a great addition. I recently looked at the bottom of my pro heat and it had so much dry hair stuck to the bottom.
The crosswave isn't specifically for carpet cleaning so it's not a safe comparison. But i would like to see if you spill how much of the spill it could pick up

I wonder why you use the swiffer to clean the floor when the crosswave is made to be used on floors as well as the carpets!!!

Can you use the carpet cleaner for cleaning hard floor?
The PROheat only cleans carpet but the Crosswave can clean hardwood and rugs.
You can buy a brush to add at the bottom for hard floors

This is my first Crosswave and I love it. It makes cleaning floors so much easier. I haven’t tried the new ProHeat but I’m so tempted to buy one.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, I am a first-home homeowner and I have 1 single area of carpet (the rug in my living room).
One of my favorite features of my house when I was first considering it was that it had no carpet…but I learned quickly that some areas just need that warm, soft feeling that only a big nice rug can provide. Now that i have one, i want to take care of it as well as possible.
I have a cross wave max plus cordless and rubber gloves but have never used them in tandem, LOL.
