We sailed on the Odyssey of the Seas for 8 days to the Southern Caribbean. With stops to Labadee, Aruba, and Curacao.
Our cabin was on the port side forward hump.
The noise level was very Quiet.
We had an amazing time, the crew of the Odyssey of the Seas was wonderful, thank you to our cabin steward Bernardino Paragas, probably one of the best cabin stewards we have had on 30-plus cruises.
The show stopper is the huge (did I say huge? lol) balcony, I spent a lot of time on the balcony in the evenings just watching the ocean go by, it was amazing. I highly recommend this cabin.

Lol! I prefer the opposite configuration. I know it's an optical illusion but, I love to snuggle up on the couch with a book, next to the balcony!
I love extended balcony cabins. Quantum class ships have cabins 248 and 648 starting on deck 8 and up those are even larger balconies. Look at the floor map.

It’s huge, probably one of the deepest balconies we have ever had on a cruise.
I thought it would make the cabin dark because it was so deep and it didn’t. Give me that cabin every single time and we would be happy.

Did you bring your own pillow? I saw a contour pillow on the bed.
There should be a table on that balcony. It looks like wasted space and it would be a wonderful place to have dinner one night or even breakfast in the morning.
I agree - we take the table from the cabin out there (the one that is part of the vanity) and we would eat out there.
It’s a pain to take in and out, but it makes it nice to eat out there.
