I found the model online untextured so I revised the mesh to work a little better with what I wanted to do, I rigged it from scratch, fully custom texturing also done from scratch including custom painted edge wear. I modeled the gun from scratch as well as did all the animations, rendering, and compositing.
@@ZaneOlson Cheers for the reply! I should have said I loved your Star Wars fan film and the VFX walk through the other day...that was really helpful, gave me loads of ideas for my film,,starting something like that always feels daunting....
@@ZaneOlson Yeah finishing stuff is always the hard part,, I try to be strict with stuff like that, hence why I haven't started my film and just trying to research and learn as much as possible...fan films are always interesting because a lot of fans don't get storytelling through camera shots all that well, you do it well.. I'm assuming you've watched Astartes, Vraks and The Raptor? There's also Angels of Blood and The Exodite on Warhammer Plus...
