    Vincent Abato - alto saxophone
    Norman Pickering - conductor
    Information supplied by Jay Shulman:
Came across your CZcams posting of Jimmy’s Ibert and Glazunov recordings.
While they were reissued in the mid-60s on Nonesuch Records, they were
originally recorded for my uncle and father’s label, Philharmonia Records.
The Ibert was recorded May 1, 1951 in Bronxville, NY, conducted by Sylvan Shulman, and was released as Philharmonia PH-103.
The Glazunov was (most likely) recorded April 24, 1951 and was conducted by Norman Pickering.

Glad to find this posted! I listened to the recording when in grad school preparing to play the concerto. Fine playing.
I met Mr. Abato when he had been retired, interesting person.
