@@jakehixon4073 Aye, think he's been doing a lot of gigs recently with the Squire album and Def maybe tour. In need of a break I think to rest his voice.
@@jakehixon4073 from the video, it's not sounding great. Not sure the sound mix or crowd are helping. Shame he wasn't in top form for a recorded gig. I hope he filmed some of the tour.
Yeah from what I've gathered from jealously watching videos from several of these shows from the states he sounded quite possibly the best he's sounded since going solo for the first two or three gigs and quickly ran out of steam. He's singing real hard on the videos I've seen from the Cardiff and Sheffield shows, projecting almost like he did in the 90s even on the acoustic songs. I think he needs to go back to using the more mellowed out melodic style he had in 2017 and with Beady Eye for the softer songs at least, he seems to have left that behind even though it appears to be what brought his voice back. Mind you I'm not a singer so I have no idea what anything I said means in technical terms lol. I just hope he doesn't completely lose it again before Oasis can reunite, Noel's voice is sounding even worse these days.
Gorgeous song! One of the very first Oasis songs I ever learnt on guitar, I used to sing it to my baby Daughter! Wonderful to see Paul 'Bonehead' Arthurs, playing the 12 string acoustic here! My 1996 programme from the Loch Lomond gig has amongst others a short paragraph by Noel praising Paul and commenting that 'He can play any instrument proficiently' ! God Bless OASIS, Manchester CITY (although Bonehead is a UNITED Fan) Rock 'n' Roll, Fish 'n' Chips, The Industrial Revolution, Buzzcocks, Joy Division , The Stone Roses, Piccadilly Radio, Boddingtons brewery and ;The MANCHESTER SHIP CANAL! dx
He sounds a bit horse which could be due to numerous reasons ......a bad day of Liam is still better then 99% of what’s presently being offered as music....
Jesus wtf happened to his voice? I listened to a few Oasis songs for the first time and try to find new live of this song and this is what i find. I just can't believe it's the same singer this is just sad.
@@josh187-cp8xb Ruined his voice in the 2000’s due to a thyroid condition and drugs. It’s miraculous he sings this well now. Listen to “Champagne Supernova, Argentina 2006” to see how bad his voice became.
whatever liam sings - it always sounds like oasis-
he is the sound of oasis !😁😍
I swear he sounded much better in Manchester in June.
I was there and felt the vocals were slightly lacklustre, not much energy in them
