I miss the old cobblestone textures with the super dark cracks and opaque grey. And how small the worlds were you really could explore and use the entire thing.
Xbox 360 edition was coded in C# which was similar to java so when they coded the world generation it was in a similar language to java so its more like java edition generation (Specificly beta)
The old days were so much simpler. No need to worry about game crashes, no updates that break the laws of Minecraft, no toxic server players. No hackers.
All we had to worry about was to build. Build to our heart’s content. Man I wish I could return to those days

That's not really all to accurate. Legacy edition was behind, so all the updates that became a thing were just following java first, so no game breaking updates were made yet, then again don't really know what you're talking about, game breaking is rather subjective. Toxic players, that's a lie. Hackers, didn't really need'em nothing to gain by hacking minecraft, there was quite a bit to worry about, it wasn't just all simple.

This brought back so many memories.
The console version of minecraft is where I got my start, and since my PC at the time couldn't even perform its toaster function, I was confined to it. Not that I didn't take complete advantage of it. Hours and hours were spent on my xbox 360, building, surviving, and generally having a good time. I never had xbox live when I was younger, so I never got into the online multiplayer experience before it was far too late. Of course, playing splitscreen minecraft was always a blast. Couch-bound buddies, sitting in the same spot from the moment they started to 4 in the morning, when both of them are laughing solely because they're both are on the brink of sleep. Thank you, Mojang. Thank you for staying dedicated to your craft through all these trials and tribulations.

There are still a lot of people playing the minigame mode (mainly tumble, and some battle) on the Wii U version, including myself, yes people still have their Wii U's, and the Xbox and playstation versions probably still have some audience.

I use to play on the 360 with my brothers all summer long. For sure some of the best times.
I remember going to my cousin's house and being able to play Minecraft split screen with 4 people. I had the time of my life, I didn't wanted it to end, I was so young. So when I got the game I was so happy. Played it everyday, by myself in creative, and survival.

I started playing MCPE 0.8.0 alpha, but Xbox One was my first console version and oh boy I still play the console version instead of the Bedrock version.

I think its funny that the PS4 trailer for minecraft litterally is almost an exact copy of XBOX 360 minecraft trailer but its just not as exiting, this might make me switch to XBOX.

I love how Xbox 360 got the really amazing trailer while PlayStation 3 got an announcement. Xbox one got the really cool trailer that probably took days to make while ps4 got a revamped version of the Xbox 360 trailer

Yeah I remember that too, I think it got patched out because that would give the third player an advantage for having a bigger screen.
