Hey everyone! Thank you so much for taking the time to listen! Out of all the tracks I've done, "The Antihero" has always been one of my favorites. Looking back, I felt there were a lot of things within the mix/production I felt could've been better. So I decided to re-record it! Really hope you like it. Love you all!

@@mooncake6582 Those would be great too! A lot of his stories mention a victim in one way or another so it would fit his music a lot. Going along the lines of the evangelist he could also write about the healer. Nathan does really good person, personality, experience, and disorder songs so I am sure he would do great in any of these!
Here’s a new version of “The Antihero”! Over the past few weeks, I’ve spent some time re-recording a bunch of my older tracks. Was really curious to see the progress I’ve made on a production/vocal standpoint. Also, I want to release an album soon so I’ve been trying to make my older stuff much sonically a little bit more. So I guess this is kind of like a first single! Would love to know what you all thought! Think you so much for taking the time to listen. It means more than you could ever know. Love you all.

The original sounded like someone was desperately looking for help until they stood up for themselves. This one is as if their hanging over a ledge (not necessarily literal) and looking for all possible options. Two very different ways of expressing similar ideals. I like them both.
The original vocals are from a perspective of someone who became antihero. The remastered version is someone who is just about to become one.

That is a really cool eerie drill sound that you added to the beginning! At first when I saw your comment I was like "but you've always been a great musician" and then when I heard it I realized you really have improved a lot! Guess that makes you an awesome musician now! The vocals are a lot clearer and the added beat elements sound awesome! Admittedly my ear isn't trained enough to pull out all the fine improvements, but it really sounds more impressive. Which is kind of crazy, because the original was already really dang good! I'm crazy hyped for this album! I can't wait to see what other songs you put on it!

I randomly came across the antihero on amazon months back and it inspired me to finish my novel. hearing a remaster made me happier in this very moment than I thought anything could. Even though I achieved a life milestone in my book that I have been working on for a long time, life has tested my resolve over the past year and this gave me so much Joy to hear.

i have this one story that kept ligering in my mind.for years actually.i dont know how to make my own novel.i mean how to start it,express it in the form of a novel.i wonder how much joy it bring me if i could make it real.
@@udaazhar3210 As someone who aspires to be a popular novelist one day, I can't express very well just how satisfying it really feels, especially holding the final copy in your hand. Just feeling the pages slip through your fingers as you flip through them, knowing it was you that made it. That feeling is hard to beat. For me, writing down my ideas was impossible at first. The words I put on the page didn't fit how I saw it in my mind. It doesn't work for everyone, but I overcame this issue by typing out what I wanted the reader to feel, and what the characters felt. I wrote down details about what I wanted to happen on that page or chapter, and eventually putting it into a novel became clearer and easier. Everyone has to start somewhere, and the best advice I ever got was just write. It doesn't have to be good, or even make a lot of sense. But if you don't start you'll never finish.

Cool remaster, it's like this song is the sequel of hero, where a "beast" or someone (right now i can't remember) was defeated and now he is remembering his story and why attacked while escaping (because the part of "humilited").

Was trying to decide between this and the hero one on which fit my dnd character I made (putting together a playlist to get me in their headspace). Love this one, might use it for a different character in the future, but finally realized after a few listens that the hero one suits their mentality better. I still love this song though!

As far as I can tell, vocally you're singing a bit slower. Me personally, I still prefer the original and the extended version but I know over time this one is going to grow on me.

Love it, especially the darkening of the music and the increase in volume of the background instruments especially at 1:39 and the horns at 2:26. my only issue which is very nitpicky, is I preferred the way you said "Catastrophe" in the original at 1:06, which again, is very nitpicky
This is NOT me saying I didn't enjoy it, if I didn't count this as the same song in my music ranking (just so some other songs have a chance of making it to top 5) as the first one, it would be my 3rd favorite song right now, after the hero and the original antihero. its just my brain being dumb and hyper nitpicking xD
