I love this and I’m gonna go on a mini rant here because it’s something I feel very strongly about and want to know if other people agree with me.
I’m a dancer and my biggest problem in the dance world is not being able to wear the clothes that I want. There’s such a specific way that you should look and what clothes you should wear and if you don’t wear a leotard or anything tight fitted and look good in it then there’s something wrong with you. I am so uncomfortable in just a leotard or a crop top and leggings and I always want to cover up with lose clothing as much as possible in dance and it helps me dance better. I hope you don’t take this in a bad way but it made me so happy to see you doing this stuff in shorts and socks because it shows that you can still do dance and gymnastics extremely well in comfortable clothes like that.
I wish that society would get away from this idea of forcing you to wear something specific and shaming you if you don’t. All my teachers say that in order to look like a dancer and dance your best, you have to be dressed like a dancer😭 like ok, I’ll dance like a dancer when I’m comfortable in what I’m wearing thank you!
I’m sorry if this made anyone uncomfortable but i am struggling with this so much right now and can’t even enjoy dance half the time because I’m just comparing what I’m wearing to everyone else and just feeling even worse. Please let me know if anyone else agrees😭😭😭

Maybe you should get professional help from a dietitian so you can get fit. Then clothes will fit better, you’ll feel better about yourself and life will be much better. Look up “emotional eating “ on google. Knowledge is power! Good luck!

She didn’t “quit” anything and I I don’t like when people put it that way because it makes it sound like they’re not working hard enough. She chose another path that she is very talented in and enjoys.🫶

i think you might be hearing the vocoder. it’s an instrument that analyzes the vocal and splits the signal into different frequencies. That makes it sound sometimes robotic. I personally love the effect, but It’s not for everyone
