  • @FCPWHAT
    @FCPWHAT Před 3 lety +1

    Thanks for the video. I’m curious as to why you’re adding contrast (a look) in your initial Luma correction. If you do this, you’re in danger (possibly) of not fully opening out the full dynamic range of the clip. In fact Blackmangic even address this in their basic colour tutorial with Resolve 15 (on their website). It’s just an observation but it makes sense to get a properly exposed and saturated image first, before applying any look. Thanks again 🙂

    • @AramK
      @AramK  Před 3 lety +1

      its nice to know rules, when you know rules however you don't care about rules )))

    • @FCPWHAT
      @FCPWHAT Před 3 lety

      Aram K yes indeed it’s about the final result, and I agree. But my point is, by adding contrast (and maybe not in your case) at the start of the pipeline can inhibit the dynamic range I.e not opening the image out to its full potential affecting the grade. It’s not a criticism, just an observation. Keep well.

    • @AramK
      @AramK  Před 3 lety

      It depends. Sometimes I do things in a certain way when tutorial like this one doesn’t really have a specific topic. Essentially working in the least destructive way is a good practice

Keep being a prick and you'll lose subscribers. Cant handle the feed back than disable your comments little girl . Check out my last video I put up a week ago with the bmpcc4k it blows this boring video you put out out of the water
