I grew up in northern Maine driving 2WD beaters....so I'm used to 'snow' driving. I picked up the limited 2024 Tuscon (or whatever they call it..) During the recent East coast snow we got I struggled to get this thing out of line- I was trying. It's stupid how good it is. You would really need to be an idiot to get in trouble with one of these. Aside form getting high-centered stuck- the average user isn't getting crossed up in one of these. Not an off-road vehicle of course, but it does pretty damn good!
Glad to hear you had a good experience in the snow with yours! We're hoping to get the chance to test a few more vehicles this season in the snow, we just haven't had much of it so far.
I just bought that same car. I like it except for the obnoxious backup alarm and since I don’t have the Limited version, it doesn’t have any parking sensors. Why have the alarm to warn pedestrians when I need the beeps to know when I’m getting close to something? The backup camera is OK but it should also have a beep. That’s a safety feature I think they left out. I would also like a front camera for parking. The Limited version was too expensive in the hybrid to get everything I wanted. This drives good though.
