I cannot believe how much content Taylor Swift has delivered to us on the most sparkly, shimmering, silver platter. We are being fed WELL by our mother. We're basically in a whole new era, The Eras Tour 2.0.
I wanted to share my reactions to the new Tortured Poets Departement set in the Eras Tour and share some of my predictions for upcoming promo surrounding TTPD. Let me know what you think!

Would LOVE a deep dive into “who’s afraid of little old me?” Also, I think it’s a haunted house behind her in the eras tour set- like she’s a ghost “levitating” over them and haunting them. It definitely gives me Mad Woman vibes 🤭

I realised while watching this that most likely the songs that got cut were chosen because they are predominantly songs where Taylor is just standing and singing as the only person on stage. That makes them easier to cut from the production standpoint because dancers cues, etc aren't changing as much.
The obvious exception is TLGAD, which probably got cut because it is a huge production number and was just not worth lugging all the costuming all over the world.
It's a shame because that was such a fun song to see live, but it was quite a lot of unique pieces to transport and maintain for just one number.

I definitely understand them cutting TLGAD but it hurts so much. That was definitely one of my favourite parts of the tour but gosh I really would give anything to see this version live now.

Oh I thought mirrors were supposed to make the platform look like it’s levitating. Also yea cause people are complaining about the “you wouldn’t last an hour in the asylum where they raised me” line, they’re saying things like “you were literally raised in a mansion.” She’s not referring to her parents. She’s referring to growing up in the music industry.
For real! I can’t understand how people are wilfully misinterpreting what she’s saying with that line!!
