Amanda Nunes, born on May 30, 1988, is a retired Brazilian professional mixed martial artist who competed in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). At the time of her retirement, Nunes was ranked #1 in the UFC women's pound-for-pound rankings. Cristiane Justino Venâncio, born on July 9, 1985, known professionally as Cris Cyborg (formerly Cristiane Santos), is a Brazilian-American mixed martial artist. As of January 2021, she competes in Bellator MMA, holding the title of Bellator Women's Featherweight Champion since January 2020. Cyborg boasts an impressive resume, having previously held titles in the UFC, Strikeforce, and Invicta FC. She stands as the sole MMA fighter to achieve Grand Slam Champion status across four major promotions. Renowned for her skills, Cyborg gained prominence by clinching the Strikeforce title in 2009 with a first-round technical knockout victory over Gina Carano. Currently, she holds the top spot in the Bellator Women's pound-for-pound Rankings as of March 29, 2021.

I would say Cyborg wasn't cocky, she was just confident. However, she seemingly underestimated Amanda's power tho
Amanda is a beast. I see a lot of female fights but the way she throw her punch is as close to a man...But I think Cris had doubt coming to the fight that's why she got knocked out. I'm not sure why but it seem like it to me.😍
She's confident because she got 20 pounds on Amanda, but Amanda power is scary.

You may think Cris Cyborg might have used things to make her stronger in fights, but we can't say for sure if she really did. People have talked about her using steroids, but we need to remember that just because people say something doesn't make it true. She's been really good in MMA, winning big fights and being a top fighter.
Amanda faced more challenge on her way up and had tighter technique
