leftovers, Resin and Plaster of Paris. Can I make something pretty?

I have a lot of either leftovers or mishaps and wanted to see if you can, in a very English term, make a silk purse out of a sows ear. Meaning can i turn something ugly and turn it pretty. Hope you think I have?

Don't you use Gloves, mask?

No I don't as I have neuropathy and gloves hinder me being able to hold or feel what I am doing plus other issues with my hands. I also work in a very well vented room as masks make me feel claustrophobic. I do have barrier creams on my hands and have wash cloths to clean my hands in case I do get anything on them before going to actually wash them. I am very very careful not to touch resin by using tools. Hope that helps

The plaster is porous, perhaps that's what caused the bubbles. Would it help if you first applied a thin layer of resin to the plaster and let it dry? Just thinking, I haven't done that.

yea I figured that out eventually but it was also having the heat mat too high with the cover on so I didn't leave enough time for it to degas so it was my error. if you are going to try it don't do a me haha then you wont need a thin layer of resin as it does work without.
