I have long hair as well (waist length), kinda thick, not very healthy though.
My issue is, after completing one round of the braid, there's a whole lot of hair remaining and I don't know what to do with it ☹️
Ayesha Tabassum honestly if you have hair longer than mid back it’ll be just a bunch of hair sitting on top of your head. I used to be able to do a simple milk maid braid when my hair was shorter and thinned out , now that my hair is almost butt length and super thick every cute hairstyles like these look messy. I have too much hair right now.

@@misbaharshad6840 I wish I could give you tips but for me it’s genetics, my father’s side of the family have very thick hair. My grandfather was 92 years old and he never went balled and all the men like my uncles and my dad still have full head of hair even though they are all 60+ years old.

I see my old enemy: the fishtail braid. Guess I will stick to the milkmaid style :p
My enemy is any braid that requires beading to the scalp, so any style of dutch or french are beyond me. I can do a normal fishtail, but the moment I try to do to my scalp I'm at a loss
@Toothless French braid is pretty easy, just about gathering hair as you go. A Dutch braid, however, is black magic as far as I'm concerned.
First video I've seen where I've seen someone blend the 2 braids seamlessly. Really pretty!

I like this video, but it would be helpful to me for the model to do the braid herself as I'm doing this on my own hair.

The third style is easy to do on myself, but the first two would be nearly impossible. #experience

Problem with that is in these particular that wod be hard to film due to the models own hand and arms getting in the way of filming

Finally a tutorial with someone that has thick and straight like mine. So hard to find someone that makes styles I’m questioning work. I’m never sure how it’ll look with thick hair.
That's considered thick hair? I have really thick hair so maybe that's why hers is bland in comparison

I LOOOOVE these! I would never have thought to do two dutch braids that way. I just would have done the one all the way around. But the two gives it this interesting twist that is very unique and makes the hairdo look even more complicated! Thanks for the tutorial- I'm bookmarking this one!
