I love your idea of using the file folders instead of the composition notebooks. I used a three ring binder with a flexible cover in a similar way for swap embellishments. It works but is getting cumbersome. I think the file folders will be more manageable. I do love being able to flip through the notebook rather than digging through boxes or bags.
Almost every time I listen to a video in the presence of my Dood, he gets an uncontrollable urge to read me an article. lol Excellent work sorting your diecuts!
I started putting them in notebooks but was not sure if it was going to work for me, this is one area I struggle with. I was using the 3 ring binders and was not using them, maybe the little plastic ones would work better for me. What a great way to spend the day - love it - TFS 🤗
I like the idea of the file folder since I do have a lot of my stash by theme, season or designer. I have not done the composition book idea, but it does intrigue me.
I use to put my ephemera pieces in Composition Books, but found it difficult, if not impossible, to move things around. Now I put them on cardstock in binders. Works so much better. Most are by collection rather than colors.
@@jeanielinguineisatthegirlcave Sorry, I missed your question. I just had a problem moving them (pages) to add more pages in with whatever was already there to kind of keep stuff together (like flowers, sea shells, bugs, etc.) that were not part of a collection. Hope that makes better sense

I do the same thing. I love having my die cuts in notebooks. I have a random one, a collections one, plus themed ones. For those ones I put the diecuts in the front and put wax paper on the back pages for stickers. I keep these ones in the iris containers with my Christmas stuff, school stuff, and so on. It’s a game changer for sure. Thanks for showing us your process!

What a fun video!! I also like to put my die cut packs on paper. I’ve been attaching them to wax covered sheets that can be slipped into sheet protectors (I could also punch holes and put in a binder or those folders you showed. What did you buy off of Amazon? I would be interested in knowing! You’re an accountant? Before you became a teacher?
Yes my bachelors degree is in accounting. My masters is in education with a specialty in reading . I can diagnose reading difficulties and work with students in identifying skills to overcome or at least compensate and get them to read on level.
I'm sorry if I missed it, but what adhesive are you using? Personally, I'm a 'shove them in a large zip bag and then rummage' sort of person, lol, but for those for whom that idea would bring them out in hives, this is a really great solution! Thank you for sharing!
Lol oh my! Once in a while I wouldn’t mind the rummaging but not on a daily basis 😂 the adhesive I actually used were photo squares.. when I went to use the runner it was empty 😂
@@jeanielinguineisatthegirlcave I guess it depends on how much you'd have to rummage through, lol - I quite like the serendipity of finding things I might not otherwise have thought of, etc. 'Horses for courses' as they say ;)

I like keeping them in a manageable size

What a great idea! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you!
You have put me in the mood to do that. Thanks for the inspiration 💕
I’m really happy with my 2 notebooks and it has also made me put the brakes on buying more diecuts.

I don’t think I myself would reach for a big binder
I've been thinking of doing the same for my collections. Great idea!
Try a little first to make sure you like it

Try it ..

Do you mean taking them off to use and then changing your mind?

I do the iris containers for my themed as well. I have beach, school , Christmas and fall
Did you glue them on with dubble side tape?
I use photo squares, repositionable or whatever old glue I have. Just a dot so I can remove easily
This was a great video! How are these cut sprays attached to the notebook? What kind of adhesive do you use?
I used recollections photo squares
What do you use to adhere them to the pages?
I use the old photo mounting squares
Would you share the link for the ephymera you got off Amazon? Love your sticker books.

@@jeanielinguineisatthegirlcave wow! I had no idea! 😊
Do you glue wax paper on each page like Janet does?
I LOVE this concept!
No ma’am because they are die cuts not stickers. The wax is for stickers and chipboard that are tacky.

I actually used photo squares because that runner was empty
Hola! Mr. Linguine!😂 Jeannie I envy you your patience. Fussy cutting! 😵
Lol it’s fun
Hola! Thanks for the greeting. I was a little nervous about the unannounced supervision. But all went well. 🛵
