Nice card of Indian Bob. With you having obtained this card and the Vandy card it is time for you to start planning your Set Completion Party/Celebration. 😎. Do you remember that card shop that was on the south side of Las Tunas, just east of Encinita?
great stuff as always. good luck on finishing the set! way to stay focused! its sooooo hard to do in this hobby. much appreciated
I’m glad to see you are so close to finishing the set! Congratulations and thanks for the update!
Very nice Rick. Rooting for the final 4. I know that feeling or near completion.
Drew, waiting to feel total relief of finishing the set. Thanks!
Thanks for the detailed stats on Bob Johnson! I had no idea he had such a prestigious career. I guess that happens when a guy plays on inferior clubs, especially before 1946. Seeing that Ted Williams, as a Red Sox fan, all I can say is --- I'm not worthy!
Michael, the fun thing about this set is learning about all these players. Indian Bob Johnson really had a nice career. Oh, that Ted is a beauty. Would love to get his 39 Play Ball, but you need the cash for that one. Thanks for watching!
Congrats Rick. That must feel great to be so close. What are your last 4? That Bob Johnson is sweet with the yellow background and abI love the leaping image.
Oh Chris, I cannot tell you the last 4. You're going to have to watch my next 3 videos. hahahaha. That Johnson is a good looking card. Alaways appreciate you watching.
Awesome, it’s going to be satisfying to complete this set.
Thanks Ken. Getting closer, but I'll be relieved when its done.
Nice to see this card on a video. Indian Bob has a good HOF case, He started his career late and as you noted was on inferior teams which doesn't help. Four to go!
Indian Bob does have a HOF case, Terry. That is thing I've enjoyed the most about building this set. All of the cards in the series, the players had relatively long careers. Thanks for watching, Terry!
Nice pickup Rick! Well centered and beautiful color...did you get that one at the Long Beach show?
Mike, I did not. I bought this one from PWCC. The Long Beach show I picked up several 1963 cards. Looking forward to seeing you in Burbank! (Ontario).
Love learning about players like “Indian Bob” Johnson, especially while looking at such a beautiful set. Looking forward to seeing those last four when you add them. Thanks for sharing Rick!
Thanks Steve!
